Canado Club may technically belong to Marina di Castagneto...
Canado Club may technically belong to Marina di Castagneto Carducci, but it is not within walking distance. The place sits on the beach on its own, kind of half way between Marina di Castagneto Carducci and San Vincenzo. We appreciated the remote location, with miles of free beach on either side. But if you want to hang out in a town, it takes a few minutes by car. Castagneto Carducci is a beautiful old town on the hillside overlooking the coast, worth a visit, especially during sunset. There is plenty of parking. San Vincenzo is another option and right by the sea. Bolgheri (famous for wine, but expensive) is also quite close.

As far as i was concerned it was great everyone very helpful. yes it's an expensive hotel, 6 euro for a coke,but you would expect that. the service for breakfast was slow,but they are addressing that, you get your own sun bed x2 + chair+2 and umbrella on the beach for your duration of your stay. staff very helpful. would go again. it's mainly italians who stay there.

Given it is right in front of the beach and less than 50 meters from most restaurants you are not going to struggle to either have a swim or find somewhere to eat.The bed was comfortable. but the entire room had an aged feeling about it and a certain cheapness that belied the 180 EUR I had paid for the room. Federica, on the front desk was outstanding.

It was very clean and had a nice buzz without being too crowded. It was always possible to get a pool lounger and the slides were a big hit. The beach is also fantastic so a great blend of water activities.
