The location is ideal to combine a trip to Cinque Terre with some time on the local beaches, visit Luni Roman site (recommend) Carrara quarries and a day trip to Luca and or Pisa. There are some local restaurants, supermarket. EV charger was 6km away... Sarazana train station was closer

It is extremely underrated. For the amenities you receive. It is a very well kept hotel and the staff couldn’t be better. The attached restaurant is a gem by itself but together it is magic. Thankful to have found this wonderful place and look forward to visiting again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this authentic castle with incredible views and overlooking/with access to the village below! The accommodations themselves were good in that you were in the castle with appropriate decor and an authentic, rustic, ancient feel. It was a really warm night, and that was the least enjoyable part of our stay. Maybe the best part was the incredible view from the ramparts of the castle and the access to explore this beautiful, historic property! It is a special place. The staff was the other standout as they were incredibly friendly and helpful and seemed to really care about the property and our experience there. We would definitely return and explore the area next time as I imagine that there are more interesting and beautiful places all around.

Beautiful little village up on a hilltop in Tuscany. Gorgeous views! There are definitely things to do, but you have to look for them - try some of the bigger things like the castle, or try some of the smaller things like walking trails!

lovely Medieval town located off the beaten path. Great place to stay away from the crowds in Italy in the summer. good place to visit the near by Carrara and even the Cinque terra for a day, or just enjoy the tranquility and beautiful scenery.

This place is literally amazing! You get to stay at a medieval castle, which inside is not devastated by modern technology. This is in line with the owner's motto "less is better" and it really is. This place helps you regenerate and rest. Rooms are ok, equipped with toilet and shower. Breakfast is what you would expect of italian brekfast, moreover - everything is bio or locally made! Delightful!
