Nice and very quiet location. No other buildings around, just the woods for kilometers. The hotel has been renovated recently and it is spotless clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Antica Dimora del Merlo Bianco was the best stay in our vacation through Friuli Venezia-Giulia, because it delivered really well on all elements that we value the most: the beds was spacious and comfortable (not always a given in Italy), the room was spacious and well lit, the bathroom was spacious and clean and with updated and functional shower and sink, and the location was fantastic, inside the historical center of Cividale, but not too far from a public parking lot. Cividale is a gorgeous little town, so we had a wonderful time exploring it. We did not have breakfast at Merlo Bianco and we did not try the restaurant, so I cannot comment on that - but I absolutely recommend the rooms upstairs and I would definitively come back!

I thought the house would be quite narrow, but it didnt bother me at all. With washing machine and equipped kitchen, also possible for longer stay. Excellent location!

Everything is perfect! Surrounded by the vineyards, nice pool, good breakfast, fresh and well-maintained premises. Calm location, close to Cividale del Friuli. Lots of dining out options around. In reality it is much better than on any picture. Highly recommended

A beautiful countryside setting, vines under the windows. This is a lovely family B&b, simple but with everything we needed. We stayed for one night, arriving late in the evening after a long drive in heavy rain with young kids. Even though we were late to arrive, we were greeted very warmly and offered hot tea. The rooms are simple and nostalgic, bringing back childhood family trips memories :). Everything is clean and comfortable, we traveled with 2 kids so took 2 rooms, and everyone slept very well! Thank you for your hospitality!

    Very nice traditional village with perfect location between sea and mountains with a lot of traditional local hand made businesses, farms, vineyards, trattories. We enjoined swimming in the river Natisone and walking around. We made short track to the waterfall Kot. We were delighted with traditional cusine in trattoria in Altana and great coffe and local hand made cakes in charming cafe on the central square in Azzida. And really loved walking in beautiful historical center of Cividale del Friuli. I recomend to take your watershoes and get your feet wet under the Devil's bridge.
