The breakfasts were lovely, outdoors by menu. The owner, Elaine, baked the sweet of the day on our last morning which was amazing and the waiter recommended wonderful items for us to try on other days. The staff was very helpful, recommending local places to visit and tips for parking (when needed). The area is very similar to Napa from 20 years ago, with lemon and olive trees all around you (but does not have the current crowds that Napa has) with a focus on wonderful food. For the cognizanti, who want a very comfortable stay and want to feel and taste the Valley di Noto, I highly recommend this venue.
La Depandance is located in the town of Noto, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Via Nicolaci Infiorata of Noto, a street covered with mosaics, is a 5-minute walk away.

The breakfast was reasonable and on a very beautiful terrace. The restaurant is excellent. The pool is amazing and there were always enough chairs and umbrellas available. The hotel can only be reached by car, but it is a very scenic location. Very relaxing.

We recommend Villa Felicia!
This small oasis of relaxation in between the lemon and olive trees brought instant relaxation.
We stayed in this hotel for one night only, but would surely book again (and for longer).
We recommend visiting this hotel if you want to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities such as the multiple pools that are available. The beach (lido de Noto) was less interesting and very quiet around this time (May 2024).
We visited Noto City which is easily traveled to by car, which is a very nice historical place- but the hotel is nice enough to simply stay there if the weather is good.
Every person on the staff was kind and friendly and they personalized their service by joining us in the birthday celebrations at midnight.
Both breakfast and dinner were very impressive, looking at the options available and the taste of the dishes. You do not need to look for other restaurants if you book here.
Big compliment to host Salvatore and family.

Noto is simply beautiful. If you like history, old churches, palazzos and piazzas, don't miss this gem. It is surrounded by rolling hills and there are plenty of appetising food and drink options.
It is small enough to do in a day, but I would have preferred a couple more days to really linger around and enjoy all the tiny cobblestone laneways and explore a little more.

This is my new favorite place in Sicily.
This is my new favorite place in Sicily. Noto is the perfect ballance of amazing architecture, classy restaurants with outstanding reasonably priced food, great independent boutiques.....all without the insane crowds of so many other places. Perhaps I shouldn't write this. I should tell everyone to go somewhere else. Yes, everyone should just stay in Taormina and leave these pure, clean natural beaches near Noto just the peaceful and quiet and clean way they are now...and forever. Such a great base to explore other towns of Ragusa, Modica and Scicli, but you will LOVE coming back to an amazing meal, gelato and music in Noto.

-Palazzo di Lorenzo is great to see a lifestyle of italian marquises from XVIII century.

If you are visiting the East coast of Sicily, Noto is a logical stop to view a Baroque city. Easily walkable, friendly folks, enough of interest for a couple days. But I would definitely try and stay at the MichaEL Garden. Simply fabulous.

Lovely old town with relaxing pedestrian area to walk through and see all the historic buildings that have a harmony of colour and style. Great restaurant opposite St Francis Church (itself worthy of a visit): Trattoria Al Buco.
Didn't like confusing one way system of narrow streets with parked cars and no easy way out to main roads.
A good location for visiting Syracuse and Modica and beaches of Lido di Noto and San Lorenzo beyond the Vendicari Nature Reserve that has interesting birdlife and greek ruins.
This was one of the highlights of staying in Sicily. The owner Ketty and her father who were so welcoming and kind have created an oasis of peace and quiet in Noto. Wonderful garden just outside our room with trees flowers birds and butterflies, so relaxing. The room was great, comfortable bed and efficient shower. Breakfast in the garden was a wonderful experience especially the homemade almond granita and the pane cunzato were so delicious we felt like royalty. Very convenient for the bus station and sightseeing in Noto
Perfectly situated in Noto. All close by.
The Room (that one with the Roof Terrace) was brilliant. Clean, cozy and spacious.
The served breakfast was daily fresh with different sweets from around Noto and sicily. Additional wishes weren't any problem.
The icing on the cake at Casa Scianna is the host Serena. From the first moment we felt heartly welcomed. She has the best recommendations for beaches, restaurants or anything else you want to see around Noto. Always chatty and smiling. The heart and soul of this place!
A Calata is a well-appointed B&B right in the heart of Noto and a short walk from the Piazza and Cathedral. There are 2 guest rooms with a shared kitchen and dining room. The kitchen was well-appointed and generous breakfast materials were provided. There were also vouchers to get coffee and a pastry in the main street. Our room had a small balcony over the street. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom was small. It had a very pleasant atmosphere.
There are so many reviews already commented on how wonderful the boutique hotel and its host, I have to say it’s all very true. The highlight of our trip to Sicily so far is our stay in Sikelia. Alessandra is a charming host and truly taking care of her guests from her heart. We had a wonderful stay, the tasty and healthy breakfast, the comfortable mattress, the tips and advices for sightseeing etc etc well thank you for everything.
Hotel Porta Reale is located very centrally in Noto - the hotel offers (for a fee) a car valet service which is very good if you don’t want to face the concerns of finding a parking spot. Our room was clean and had a lovely balcony overlooking the Main Street. Staff was very responsive and helpful - the welcome drink offered on the 4th floor rooftop terrace was a very appreciated gesture.
The location is perfect for a stay to visit Noto. It has a big closed parking where you can leave the car and then just walk into the city centre (650m). The host Ambra was very friendly, pointed out the most interesting sites and gave us a custom map of Noto.
The breakfast was excellent including products grown by Ambra. The best breakfast we head in Sicily!
The b&b is owned by a father and a son. Both are very friendly and welcoming. They have an eye for detail, they are ready to help you when needed. We have been to a lot of hotels and b&b´s in Sicily, but this one was definitely the best and the most personalized one. The location is also very very good! We would definitely recommend this b&b.
This is a wonderful hotel. The location is perfect. It’s close to the main section yet private. The staff are absolutely exceptional and make you feel so welcome each day! The breakfast is the best we have experienced travelling in Italy - it includes alcarte options. Thanks for a wonderful experience in Capri!
Everything was great. The hospitality by the staff, Carlo the owner and his lovely mom was warm and helped us with everything. The decorations and interior design are amazing, and the breakfast was tasty and made from good, fresh products.
No parking problem, unique advantage in Sicily.
Thanks.
The b&b is located minutes walk to all the Noto sights in a quiet residential area. Paolo and her husband were generous and welcoming making our stay very special. The breakfast was flavorful and ample, served in a sunny and lovely courtyard, 5* for the bruschetta!!!
The garden and pool are impeccable and stunning, rooms were big and everything was very well maintained and clean on the in- and outside. Also host Paulo was very helpfull. We had a great time in this peacefull region of Sicily between the lemon- and olivetrees!
This is a perfect place to stay in Noto. Right inside the main gate, short walk to everything. They arranged transportation to and from hotel in advance, which worked out great. highly recommend
picture perfect interior decoration. clean. comfortable beds. fantastic location in the historical center of Noto to enjoy the many restaurants. well located to discover the south east. of Sicily.
Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful place and so close to Noto. Staff was easy to communicate with and responsive. Breakfast was minimal and not really worth the cost but very convenient.
The breakfast was very delicious including homemade Italian food and almond milk. The best we had during our journey in Sicily! Great host and clean appartment. 100% recommended!
Perfect new hotel one block from the great Duomo and main baroque street of Noto. Fine staff, rooms, breakfast. 150 feet from really great creative pizzeria, too. No complaints.
