We visited Treviso from August 6 to August 13.
We visited Treviso from August 6 to August 13. During this time the city was quiet, peaceful, and not crowded. It is clean and charming, which is actually a rarity in Europe. The only downside is that the shops close too early – it was impossible to go shopping during the day because of the heat, and in the evening, when it became cooler, everything was already closed. Great base for visiting Venice , trieste , Verona etc Explore the town and area beyond the Main Street, lots of shopping, cafes etc if you explore If you have a car, good to get out and explore an area where few tourists . A very nice place to visit and walk along the river sides. It's marvelous and very relaxing. Lovely flowery scent in the air coming from the flowers. Nice people and prudent drivers. Many use their bikes to do their errands too. Treviso is a beautiful town to visit. The town centre is quite small and easy to walk around. It feels very safe and everyone was friendly. Prices were very reasonable, especially when you hear about the rip-off prices in nearby Venice. We went for the rugby game between Benetton Treviso and Glasgow Warriors. My family and I had a fantastic stay in Treviso, which we absolutely loved! The town itself is charming, with its picturesque canals, beautiful architecture, and relaxed atmosphere. It was the perfect balance of a quaint Italian town while still being incredibly close to Venice, making it a convenient and affordable option for our trip. The proximity to Venice is ideal — just a short train ride away, so we could easily explore all that Venice has to offer while coming back to the peace and quiet of Treviso in the evenings.Guest review byViola
