There's a lot more to KL than a glitzy skyline. Food and city travel offer high quality and great value (download the Grab taxi app). A good city to walk in. A walking tour with David Tan of Guru Tours gave us glimpses into KL's past and present, as well as hints of the future. It is a suprisingly green city - citizens and authorities seem to love their trees. Shiny contemporary skyscrapers live comfortably alongside old structures that seem to be in no danger of disappearing - the casual visitor could be wrong. Some of the new buildings are beautiful, with clever incorporation of Islamic motifs, though the broad strategy of the town planners is a bit mystifying. A lack of stress in the way people negotiate their city belies its primary commercial focus.
Our best experience in KL was the Museum of Islamic Art which was exhibiting contemporary explorations of Arabic calligraphy. An exhibition worth visiting KL for - check out how liberating calligraphy from conventional rules unleashed a storm of immersive art.

Kuala Lumpur is nice city and very well connected with Metro and Mono and bus service. We could not able to use bus service as it required (compulsory touch-n-go card which we don't wanted to buy as its bloking your some money and for each traveller we need to buy it). We find challen for vegitarian people as there is hardly any option for vegitarian to eat in kuala lumpur but for other its heaven. We did most of our booking on klook and booking.com which were very smooth and hassle free. you can use your internation debit or credit card for transaction at most of places (again if you refill your touch n go card then that will also very handy)

Loved my trip to Kuala Lumpur - the city was vibrant and easy to navigate. The public transport system was very useful to get around and the rail link between the airport and KL Sentral station was super handy. I would recommend travellers to stay in the Bukit Bintang area to be close to the shopping malls and plenty of eateries.

We were travelling as a large family of 7 and wanted a mixture of experiences, we opted to use the hop on and off to get a feel for the city and the made some decisions on what we wanted to see, that was helpful. Top highlights - KL Bird Park, Time Square Mall, Batu Cave, Kanching Rainforest Waterfall. We didn’t bother to figure out the public transport, with having the kids with us it was much easier to just take taxi’s to places and still very affordable. For the majority of our trip we stayed at Traders Hotel, this was brilliant, perfect for the family, great facilities, and close to KLCC. We had some flights changes which meant we had to extend our stay for an extra couple of days, to make it a little more affordable we moved accommodation towards the end of our trip to be closer to China town and the markets and experience that part of KL, in the end we regretted that decision, that side of the city is not great for kids, it’s pretty rough and feels more like a backpackers / young adult scene. We still enjoyed exploring the markets but it wasn’t great for the kids. We discovered that Time Square Mall had very similar stalls in its upper levels and a whole lot more things for the kids to do in the Theme Park so that was a better experience. Over all some great adventures were had and we loved most of our time in Kuala Lumpur.

Everything was great.
Everything was great. People are friendly and always willing to help and give directions. I didn't speak Bahasa malaysia for almost 40 years and the people I asked for help managed to direct me back to the hotel on Tuesday night. The night the tree felled. Taxis and grabs were not running and the only back from Sungai Wang was to walk. People on the streets were telling me how and where to go. I do thank the 2 BMW mechanics who directed me back to the hotel.
Food was cheap and the exchange rate was excellent.
I found that night hours were safer than many towns in north America.

Mosques, Museums, Plenty of contemporary Malls, Central Market where you will find lots of souvenirs shops, Chinatown Market, Sense of Safety while moving around KL, Bukit Bintang Street livelihoods, tasty tropical fruits, Grab App and Maxim App for your easy rides , Celcom SIM card with their excellent network coverage and competitive price for one month subscriptions or any other subscription periods which is available easily at the arrival terminal KL International Airport.
1.The hotel was next to monorail station, thus it was super easy for us to travel and explore the city.
2.The room was super clean, has great view of KLCC especially at night. The room gave us a relief feeling whenever we came back from long day outing
3.KLCC, Starbucks, convenient stores(7-11, MyNews, CU), Mc Donalds are walking distance between 10- 15 minutes
4.Concorde KL maybe one of the oldest hotel in the city but it certainly on the same par with other 4- 5 stars hotel.
5.Buffet breakfast was excellent!
Yes the bedrooms will make for a decent instagram post, but by no measure is this a 5 star hotel.
The rooms look nice in the pictures but like that 49 year old guy who keeps sliding into your DMs (the one in a v-neck T-shirt, with oversized veneers and a suspiciously razor edged hairline that he acquired in Turkey, in the cold light of day they look old, cheaply finished and they’re starting to look very tired, the rooms that it.
Location = The hotel is very near the Bukit Bintang Monorail Station. Lots of restaurants and malls nearby. Also near Jalan Alor. Petronas Twin Towers and the Menara Kuala Lumpur are about a 20-minute walk away.
Stayed here for 6 nights. The room is clean. No problem encountered with the AC and the smart TV. Soap and shampoo were provided. There is hot water for early morning showers, plus a clean and thick bath towel.
it’s suitable for transit - if you need to catch early morning ERL Train or bus to airport, this could be one of your affordable hotel. Located very near to Nu Sentral. Amenities provided are basic - which is okay for my short stay. My room is facing main road & I can hear the noise from outside. if you are bothered by the noise, then this hotel might not be the one for you or you could request a room facing the back.
Room is small by many hotel standards, but perfect for a short solo biz trip. Smart use of space with the underbed storage and safe.
Love the art and attention to design throughout the hotel.
Location is fantastic, a very short walk from Jalan Alor/Bukit Bintang.
The main road outside the hotel is convenient to get to KL Sentral and Chinatown with fairly smooth traffic, easy to book Grab rides.
The hotel is spacious for a budget hotel. There is no TV, but there is no problem because now the internet is more important than TV. parking is easy and plentiful. only the halal food places are a bit far to walk. Bukit Bintang and Jalan Pudu can be walked. There are no employees if you want to check out early, but if there is no problem, the deposit will be transferred to your account
It was cheap(ish)
For a 3 star hotel, the toilet paper is better than when I was at Pacific Regency which is meant to be a 5 star hotel. So good on you Min Cott for looking after my behind better than a 5 star hotel!
Please don't think of this as a stay away.
It passes and is clean, would be better if they supplied slippers but it is a good place if you are extremely tight on budget
Great location, super friendly staff, very comfortable bed and beautiful views. Loved the gym, rooftop infinity pool (morning swims!) and wine bar! staff were reachable via WhatsApp and reply fast and make sure everything is perfect during your stay. Felt like a 5 star hotel and I couldn't believe the value for money!
They rooms were clean we had all the amenities required for the stay. It wasn’t a 5 star hotel but good value for money. View was good but the mirrors were blacked out and it was really hard to see anything thru the window. It’s not a hotel more like apartments rented out by different companies.
The location of the hotel was great it was near to the bustling bukit bintang and around half an hour walking distance from petronas twin towers.
It has multiple grocery and mini marts right next to it and in addition to that it provides great value for the money the rooms are priced at.
The location is very strategic, near with MRT Bukit Bintang station. The staffs are friendly and very helpful, especially when I need to order grab to go to airport, the security staff helped us to order it. And of course the price is quite cheap for hotel in that strategic location
The location. Take airport express direct to KL sentral and hotel just next to it.
A big shopping mall is also just next door. All the train line to major malls can be taken from this station.
check in and out is fast.
Staffs are friendly.
Room is spacious.
In the heart of Bukit Bintang a modern, funky design hotel for reasonable price. I really liked the round shower area with the colorful spotlight. Very comfy bed. Also liked the black metal furniture style.
Nice roof top with the pool there.
Hotel is not new and its not a 5 star hotel but room is clean, has everything except hair dryer.. Near monorail, bus station, mrt/lrt which is easy access for places to go. Nu Sentral mall is opposite side ans lots of restaurant beside hotel
good location in shopping Centre with monorail station which made it easy to get to KL sentral station. no on-site hotel reception but booking agent met us and was very helpful. good gym.
