Property was easy to find. We arrived early and were able to check-in and get into our room. Room was small, basic and but very clean. We asked for twin beds. Also included was a TV, small refrigerator and kettle. Area was quiet, then again we were there beginning of May (off-season). We left the car parked and were able to walk everywhere around town.

    The town itself is charming, and the view of the mountains...

    The town itself is charming, and the view of the mountains spectacular. We visited Morskie Orko, which was breathtaking. Kasprowy Wiersch was an enjoyable trip and walk. Gubalowka Mountains and cable car were nice to see, but really a tourist spot, albeit with good views of the town. We enjoyed fine dining at Restaurant Giewont (book in advance) and traditional Polish food at Goralska Kryjowka Karczma. Easy to get around, although gets quite congested if travelling by car through the centre due to the volume of tourists, which just emphasises that Zakopane is a great place to visit. We stayed three nights, but could easily have stayed longer and seen more of the wonderful landscape and attractions.

    We visited Zakopane with our family for the first time and...

    We visited Zakopane with our family for the first time and loved it! We explored Morskie Oko, Kasprowy Wierch, and the beautiful Koscieliska Valley. In the evenings, we enjoyed traditional food in the lively town center with plenty of great options.

    It is our 3rd time in Zakopane. We went in Winter, Sping and now during summer and everytime it has something new and marvelous for us to see and experience. Our favorite vacation destination in Poland.

    Nice place for mountain lovers (both in winter and summer). Good local transport to the most popular (and beautiful!) Tatra's Valleys. Convenient location of train and bus station. Quite enough hotels, guest houses and hostels, that differ in price, that allows you to choose the best option for you. A lot of restaurants, including ones that propose national coisine, souvenirs shops, street food.

    Zakopane is a touristy ski/hiking city, but it has a layout...

    Zakopane is a touristy ski/hiking city, but it has a layout that prevents it from getting too noisy. Traditional building types are respected so it all has enough character to enjoy. It gives access to a nr of hiking trails into a national park of the High Tatra Mountains. There you can do basic level walks but also quite steep and rocky trails to mountain lakes. Access to the park is ~3$ and the bus to Morski Oko (one of the big attractions) is ~4$ (one way) plus a walk of courses. I had a good time recovering from a long trip through Poland. I hiked to the Five Lakes Valley which is a true hiking trail, then to Morskie Oko and back to Palenica. Some trails are fine for kids others are best enjoyed with some fitness practice ;-) Zakopane has luxury spa's and basic hotels, so if you come to hike it will allow you to do that, if you come to feel luxury in a relative remote place it will also deliver..

    The tatra mountain region of south poland is stunningly beautiful with so many hiking opportunities and beautiful views. The locals were super friendly and helpful. Away from the touristy hot spots, it was quiet and just so relaxing. We combined staying here with a weekend in Krakow. The train from Krakow to Zakopane was such a good service and about £7 each. Highly recommend coming here.

    Hotel Paryski Art Business is really one of the best hotels we visited not in Zakopane only, but in the whole Poland. The rooms were amazing and very pleasant with the fantastic views to Tatras mountains from the balconies. The breakfast was absolutely perfect with a big variety of everything. The restaurant was also very nice and all the meals absolutely perfect.

    Hostel is 1min walk to Krupowki str. - center of Zakopane. Also really close to ski slope and real mountains. Bed is comfortable, lots of heating batteries so we could dry our ski costumes and shoes. Kitchen has all the facilities and in 20m Zabka (cheap store with cooked food). Definitely worth money. Recommend 👍
