Location was important to me because of work. Parking was a big bonus but nowhere to eat in walking distance apart from Mc Donalds. Price for the room was good to be fair. Doubt I would ever return again.
Set in the historic center of Caldas da Rainha, next to the city's thermal baths, the famous Praça da Fruta and Parque D.

Location was perfect, took dogs and were so gracious about it. Lovely bed, bowls and treats for them. The staff was so welcoming. The restaurant was fabulous. Food was great. Not what you expect at a restaurant attached to a hotel. But really excellent food. Right in old town so you walked to everything. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Caldas is a treasure!
Caldas is a treasure! It’s a small, unassuming town, with gorgeous cobbled streets, a very large segment of walking streets in old town, a very beautiful park to meander in, and a wonderful outdoor market open every morning of the year. I found it and its residents delightful and welcoming. I left my backpack in a store and of course it was right there waiting for me behind the checkout, protected by store employees. I so love Portugal and the warmth and charm of the Portuguese people, This town is a beautiful place to stay if you want to do a very easy one day trip to historic Obidos! I highly recommend staying here. Train station is a tiny walk to town.

A great town to visit.
A great town to visit. A good transition point for further travels to closeby towns: Obidos, Fox de Arelho, Peniche and other further towns: Lisbon, Porto, Aveiro. Caldas da Raina itself is also worth visit, beautiful buildings, great park with old building of hospital for evening and all day walks.

The old historical town is amazing. Loved the daily fruit/flower market. The Park with it's little lake and surroundings and historical buildings were our favorite, as well as the friendly and hospitable local people.

For some reason I was expecting a run-of-the-mill, budget hotel. Imagine my surprise when we walked into the cozy lobby of a beautiful old building and were greeted by the sweetest couple. We were immediately welcomed with shots of the local ginja and some sweet treats. Our room was quite spacious, and every time we returned to the lobby we were again offered some ginja. I should note that this couple did not speak English and we don't speak Portuguese, but somehow we all managed to communicate and they made us feel like family!
Everything was absolutely perfect! The location is amazing. Perfect view of the sea from all rooms. Room set up is wonderful and spacious. Beautifully decorated with a great bed and a huge washroom. Breakfast was lovely. The best part of it all was our fantastic hostess Sonia. Sonia made us feel like we were being hosted at her home. She was so sweet and attentive to all our needs. Don’t miss the opportunity to stay at a very special boutique hotel on the Portuguese Silver Coast.
It was a nice stay in Caldas da Raina. Room was quite spacious with everyday cleaning (it wasn't necessary, however we were feeling great coming back to freshly clean and nicely smelling room. Hotel is located in short walking distance from bus station - ideal location for us as every day we were using buses to visit closely towns. We were happy with our hotel's choice.
The property is in the city center so everything is walkable. There are a wide variety of restaurants and cafes in the area. The unit is very homey and comfortable. We also enjoyed the balcony. We wanted to experience what it would be like to live in a small city in Portugal and Caldas and this unit was perfect. We loved our experience and will definitely return.
The 19 Tile boutique hotel is very well decorated and has a lot of personality. Each room is dedicated to a local ceramist artist.
It is an old house with a mix of old and new decoration.
The room and bed were very comfortable.
The breakfast was fresh and good.
The staff was very welcoming.
We loved everything about this hotel.
Very nice interior fit out and small touches which made our stay very comfortable. A great outside porch at the back, which our dog loved. Superb host, who gave some very helpful recommendations to make our stay enjoyable. If we are ba k in the area again, we won’t hesitate to try to book again! Definitely recommended.
Just five minutes easy walk from either the railway and bus stations. Located in a quiet neighborhood yet not far from the center of Caldas. Staff were really helpful and we were given a room in the exact part of the hotel that we had requested. Accommodation was clean and our bed was comfortable.
The breakfast was beyond incredible. Lots of variety. Everything was super tasty and the hotel/room is perfect and well-located. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the hotel has a certain charm with a wee touch of class. Worth the reasonable price. Recommend 100%.
The staff make the hotel what it is...Friendly and outgoing...Optimal location for exploring Caldas da Rainha...Comfortable and spacious rooms...Room service and variety of menu options was a plus...Lounge and bar area is great place to relax and enjoy a drink...
the location is ideal. I was there in the pre-Christmas season so street parking was at a premium, but I was always able to find a place within east walking distance and there is a large off street area to allow unloading right at the hotel entrance.
The room is functional and comfortable, though a little small. For one night it was very good. The hotel is well situated from public transportation. The staff was also very helpful. I found the stay quite comfortable.
The room was good, comfortable, everything was clean and the AC was working well. The hotel is in the centre, and 5 minutes away from public parking spots and the market.
Lovely hotel in Caldas da Rainha.
Apart from the excellent facilities, the standout feature was the professionalism and friendliness of the staff.
