Casa Dos Arrabidos is a little oasis at the edge of an attractive small town that has crept up to envelop it over the years. In the height of summer, the gardens have plenty of shade, but there is also lots of space for basking in the sun - especially beside the pleasing and well-maintained swimming pool. There are old pines and olive trees on terraces, while oranges and apricots are also grown there. In addition there is a pond with skittery frogs and an antique shrine at the bottom of the garden. The house is an old monastery, which has been attractively adapted for visitors. The bedrooms are spacious, clean, neat and tidy, while the large Breakfast Room below maintains a cool, even temperature that is very welcome after the heat of the day. It is a family-run establishment and they are kind, thoughtful and very eager to please. Indeed, they could do no more to help the visitor enjoy thier stay. Moreover, each morning's breakfast is accompanied by fresh bread and simply delicious - comprising an ideal start to any day.

The staff was the best part of this hotel. They were kind, helpful, and friendly. They even called another hotel to help us sort out a stay later in our trip. The breakfast was great.

Right in a horse facility, on the second floor, riding was extra but great to have a tour of the town on horseback. The lady at the front desk was wonderful and the riding instructor was equally wonderful. I had a memorable experience.
Located in a village known for the horse exhibition held every year, Casa da Tia Guida is located in Golegã’s main street, in a manor house.

The location is perfect, the house is amazing it looks like going back in past. The owners are very helpful, good breakfast and toilet with hot water 24/7. There is a bidet.
A nice small town with all the amenities one needs.
A nice small town with all the amenities one needs. It has an old town area surrounding a castle. Inside the castle is mostly a park but the perimeter and walls surrounding it has a number of view points worth exploring. In front of it, there are a number of cafes and bars covered from the sun and a number of trees providing shade. There is an ATM in the square which is useful. Streets near the old town are narrow but full of quaint charming shops to pick up a souvenir or two.

It’s a great town for a gateway with your couple, to relax or work in a calmly environment, surrounded by nature, weather is good, food is good and not too expensive but you should definitely have your own wheels because transportation is a little bit complicated in holidays
The hotel is in the historic centre near all the shops, bars and restaurants. The property has been totally refurbished so the room and facilities are modern and good. The room has air conditioning, flat screen tv, private bathroom and wifi but the price of the room was very economical and included a continental breakfast. The prices charged were before the pandemic. It’s easy to drive out of the town from the hotel. Parking is limited but great for a motorcycle. The staff were helpful and very friendly.
Truly a wonderful little rural hotel.
The host, Joao and ALL his team were absolutely fantastic in an understated and unimposing way. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they also anticipated your needs fantastically. It’s rural and small but absolutely delightful. Beautifully and tastefully furnished in a retro style.
Already looking to book again for next year.
We booked three nights. We loved the room ,it had a big balcony overlooking the countryside. The decor was beautiful in the room & en suite shower room & the beds were super comfortable. So much so I took a note of the name of mattress and bedding. The staff were very helpful & friendly too. Also loved the closeness of this Hotel to the town of Torres Novas.
The room was clean. The reception was super friendly and helpful. And mostly and more important it was good location for first time traveller in Portugal, Torres Novas.
There’s a restaurent on the main floor and many Terasses downstairs where you can eat or have a drinks ($).
Plus the amazing view you have on the Castle! Wow
The hotel's location was very nice, just on the main square below the castle. The staff receptionist was incredible and ensured we were taken care of. The family room we booked was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was diverse and provided great options.
The location is very good. They also give you a menu-voucher to have a meal with a discound in the local restaurant. The hotel is newly renovated and was almost completely empty. Breakfast OK for a 3 star. If you're lucky, you'll get a parking spot near the hotel.
Location is the best you can get in the small town of Torres Novas. The staff was nice. The room was clean, the beds were ok, the breakfast wasn't the best in the world but it has variety and quantity (missing bacon and eggs).
A nice surprise in Torres Novas, this hotel was very comfortable, the staff was very kind in the check-in, and the location could not have been better. Overall very happy with the stay and the value for money is high!
The staff were very welcoming. The room exceeded our expectations (better looking and equipped than the current photographs on Booking). Hotel's very well situated too...totally recommend! Also, great value for money.
The person who checked us in on arrival was very welcoming and efficient. The hotel was extremely clean and we had everything we needed. The quality of the breakfast and the selection of foods on offer was excellent.
The hotel is in the middle of the town nearby a very nice place.
It was very easy to reach it and to walk around in the nice town of
Torres Novas.
They are also a few nice and good restaurants nearby
The hotel is situated below the castle on the main square but on the opposite side of all the restaurants, pubs and cafes, therefore you do not hear any noise. Breakfast was very good and sufficient.
Really nice hotel right in the town centre. Very nice room, comfortable bed, and even a spa bath! Great view of the castle and square from the balcony.
Amazing breakfast, plenty of everything.
Lovely clean and modern hotel. Great facilities and a warm welcome. Everything just as you’d hope! Lovely pool and lots of areas to sit and relax! Wish we could have stayed longer!
I loved the fact that the hotel was right next to the castle…
Nice place to be with many shops around…
Reminds me the medieval times…great place…
Lovely breakfast…
The hotel is located in the centre of the city in the Praca 5 de Outobro. Close to all amenities within the small town. A couple of restaurants and bars close by
