We booked one of the Superior rooms (which are in the higher levels of the hotel i.e. better view) and it did not disappoint. The view was amazing, and the sound of the waves was very relaxing. My parents had called ahead to ask if they could leave a note and a bottle of wine for our honeymoon, and they had that out for us when we got to the room.
The breakfast had a lot of options and was very tasty.

It was not difficult to get around Malveira da Serra w/o a vehicle. We were able use buses, the local train and the odd taxi/uber ride to economically and efficiently move around the Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra regions. There were also several restaurants - reasonable and good w/in walking distance of Sunny Soul. We particularly enjoyed Estrela da Serra for its entrees, soups, desserts and service!!
