The host, Adelaide, met us outside the apartment when we arrived. She is super nice and sweet and she gave us a tour of the apartment. The apartment is very spacious with a little nice outdoor area at the back. The clean is spotless and very clean.

Stunning views, beautiful place to visit with so much history. The Retiro do Escova restaurant was brilliant, excellent food and great service. I didn't have a car so I depended on public transport which was economic and handy to go to visit other towns nearby.

If you are interested in history and things other than beaches, this area is surprisingly full of excellent places to visit, and virtually empty of the usual crowds. The Roman ruins are some of the best in Portugal. Also just 2 hours south of Lisbon airport, so very convenient stop on way to Algrave.Jennifer WolcottUnited States of America

When we arrived we found at there were construction works next to the pool (not at the hotel property). We were at bit disappointed, but the staff has done absolutely everything in their power to make our stay perfect. It's also a good place for kids with very nice places to play with them. Staff is very kind and attentious.
