It was our anniversary trip, we planned to stay at the hotel and enjoy the rooftop bar the first night. It was closed for a private event. They wouldn't even let us go enjoy the rooftop seating.
I had a choice between Hyatt and Embassy. Wish I'd went with Embassy. At least they would have had a comfortable bed. Hyatt beds are HORRIBLE!

Love going to the women’s basketball hall game, eating at Calhoun’s, seeing Pat Summitts statue, we visit with friends while here. This trip was to get my grandson’s first haircut. The lady that cut his hair was the same one that first cut our daughter’s hair.

Well, honestly, I didn't see much of Knoxville, but it was on the way to Chattanooga. And it was a good place to stay, making the rest of the drive to our destination (90minutes) convenient. Which did allow us time to check out the local sites. (we checked out the Museum of Appalachia, a living history museum, just 20 miles north of Knoxville. I told my husband about it, and since we'll be driving to Tennessee more often since my brother is moving there this year, I am excited that I can take advantage of what Knoxville and Chattanooga have to offer. I definitely want to explore Knoxville and its surrounding area over the next few years. The mountains have been calling me for years, but this was the first time I drove through this southern part of Tennessee. It's beautiful out there! I'll be back.

Traveled thru the area. Stayed two nights. Did not have much time to enjoy the offerings. City looked clean, with plenty of trees and green space. Picturesque but still has all the elements of a large metropolis.

We were in Knoxville for the University of Tennessee...
We were in Knoxville for the University of Tennessee football game. We stayed on the out skirts of town because either other hotel rooms were booked up or the hotels jacked up in prices for the weekend. Knoxville is a great city to visit but if your not into college football I'd suggest you visit when there's not a game going on.
There's a lot of fun restaurants in downtown Knoxville "Market Square".
The location was great - it's in a vibrant part of Knoxville with a huge range of places to eat and drink within easy walking distance. The hotel is also quite easy to navigate and is clearly a very busy part of the social scene for downtown Knoxville (rooftop bar). The crisp linen and towels is always appreciated.
All staff (and contractors) I encountered were friendly and greeted me, which was a really nice touch. The rooms were quiet and well appointed for my needs and I enjoyed the security of the card access lift.
Came to Knoxville (first visit) for a concert. Katharine Knaps checked us in and she was super sweet and helpful Helped us with transportation and restaurants in the area! The room was very nice. Only compliant was from my husband and he did't think the bed was comfortable but I slept like a baby. Knoxville was very nice and clean. Felt very safe walking around. We are from Louisville, Ky and unfortunately I can not say the same for our downtown area :(
Rooms were immaculate and staff was wonderful. We particularly loved the older man who worked the desk. I wish I would’ve gotten his name. He was so sweet and personable. He talked to my children when we checked in, remembered them when we checked out, and gave them hot chocolate truffles. He was such a warm welcome and fantastic staff member. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting the downtown area.
Great location to taxi into the heart of town. Staff were very good , friendly , helpful and welcoming. The hotel is now getting tired scruffy carpets , noisy aircon but… its cheap so don’t expect high rollers. Free parking and decent breakfast you can’t grumble at £50+tax. Safe enough too.
I cancelled the booking within an hour of checking in. Toilet and bathroom sink clogged. Front desk clerk lied and we site lied/false advertisement that the hotel had a pool. Poor customer service when I called to complain and request a full refund.
The location was excellent to downtown Knoxville and to UT. Was able to walk downtown and enjoy coffee and atmosphere. Also, very close to Old Town and the University of Tennessee, which was why we were there to begin with.
THE POOL WAS AMAZING!!!
The house itself is well located and the neighborhood was perfect.
If I come again in Knoxville I'll make sure i'll stay at the same place again!
Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and neat. Breakfast had a nice selection. Close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Easy access to downtown Knoxville.
The property is in a great location in downtown Knoxville. It was clean on the outside and the lobby is beautiful. The valet service was fast and so convenient.
