The owner & staff were very nice. The vibes felt homey and welcoming. My family enjoyed walking around the property picking ripe mango from the tree and looking for macadamia nuts.

Exactly what I come to expect from VI—clean, comfortable, cozy. Not high-end fancy, just affordable, nice lodging in beautiful places.

The place is very large, clean, and well stocked. We loved the availability of pretty much anything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Most places offer little more than salt and pepper which is a major hassle to go and buy what we need to make meals, then throw it all away before we board a plane to our next stay where we have to do it all over again. Here, we had everything we needed. A simple courtesey that makes a world of difference in our stay. We also liked having the list of favorite restaurants and only wished we took a photo of the list before we went out for the day because we ended up going to a place that was less than desireable. When we got back we noticed that the restaurant that we went to was not on the list. They even had a massage chair available in the master bedroom. I think it would be a great idea to have that in the living room, but it was available none the less. There is a view of the ocean from a long distance, which was another nice touch.

Basic accommodations with a pool and hot tub. The unit is in okay shape. These were built in 1975. There have been some updates. We noticed newer bamboo flooring. The owner left some nice amenities such as beach chairs, tennis rackets, pool inner tube, a cooler and umbrellas. Hot tub and pool are a nice amenity, along with grills.

Quiet, good sleeping, good location.
