Port Angeles is a good mid-point between Port Townsend and Neah Bay Indian Reservation. Waterfront area is the main attraction in P.A. with several restaurants to choose from. We were on a bicycle trip from the San Juan Islands to Sol Duc Hot Springs. We camped mostly, but stayed in a room at Port Angeles so that we could take a bus up to Hurricane Ridge. The bus was a bargain at $2 round trip (half that for seniors), and we were able to park our bicycles in a locker near the waterfront at no charge.Guest review byRichardUnited States - 10.0

Port Angeles is in a rain shadow. It doesn't receive lots and lots of rain like most of western Washington State. The city has a wide variety of shopping and entertainment choices for whatever your taste may be. The people are very friendly. We took a walk around the town on the day we were there and found it to be very pedestrian friendly. Fantastic restaurants close by the ferry where we had the best fish and chips and crab cakes ever! Did not have time to do much as we only spent one night before catching the ferry to Victoria, but would definitely love to return to this area and explore more.Guest review byJulieUnited States - 10.0
I love staying in PA!
I love staying in PA! It's just city enough to have conveniences, but small town enough to feel like you've gotten away. I always walk the main street and the waterfront and eat at my favorite places (Straight Slice, Wellys, Sabai Thai). I love going into Sequim and Joyce and walking the beaches like Dungeness Spit and Murdock. It is a great location for hikes and nature.Guest review byDee DonnellyUnited States

This was our first time staying at the Super 8 and we were very impressed. I have mobility issues and require parking close to my room and an accessible room. Super 8 exceeded both of these with flying colours. The accessible bathroom was one of the best I have ever seen. The room was large and very comfortable. Not only did it have a desk area, it also had a table and two chairs. The hotel was busy, but it was so quiet we thought we had the place to ourselves.
