It's a cabin which we prefer over a hotel/motel room and the location is close to town while not on main street. We did receive a slight refund for our complaint.

It is a quaint hotel that has a real key that you used to enter the room. I prefer that because the key cards don’t always work. The room was clean and it looks like they have done some upgrades. The beds were rather hard. The breakfast was good also.

Great place for visit, locals DO NOT like the tourists too much, witnessed a bad altercation between a motorcyclist and a lady in a Tesla. I did not hear the whole convo but at the end she yelled 'well I live here and PLEASE do NOT come back' - IMHO the motorcyclist did nothing wrong. That being said everyone was VERY kind to me and I just kind of did my thing LOL. Anyways you ARE in vacay land so prices will be adjusted accordingly. Is VERY dry, we were under a fire pre-evacuation the entire time. Scenery is GORGEOUS, I went on the highest rated hike in the area - Four Mile Falls and it was stunning. Tons of hiking and places to visit in the area, easy to get down to Georgia O'Keefe's ranch and all kinds of spas in the area. Great places to eat, yeah I really had a great time 👍

    The construction.

The construction. Having been several times before, this was a bit of a downer. And now too many people. Is just the way it is. Crowded. Feels crowded. And a TON of old people. Of which I am one. But dang... felt like an assisted living enclave. Restaurants were mediocre at best. Town has lost its appeal to me. Touristy... but such is progress, if that is progress.

Very cute town, the only drawback is the construction that is going on. It may be ongoing for about another year. It did make finding parking places difficult. Definitely recommend doing the wagon rides from the Buckaroos Wagon Rides, it was a very nice experience!! The hot springs was wonderful, once you get past the sulfur smell it is heaven!!

Known for their hot springs but if you just want to relax and look at beautiful scenery, this is a nice little town to visit. My only complaint, and this goes for all the little towns I've visited in CO, is that there isn't a wide variety of restaurants. Mostly burgers, tacos, bar b que and maybe a Thai or Chinese restaurant, very few healthy options. And some restaurants close after lunch, making dinner-time even more difficult. Great escape from the AZ heat!

Our trip to Pagosa Springs was planned last minute after our plans to Ruidoso, NM had to be cancelled because of devastating fires. We honestly didn't know much about Pagosa before we arrived, we were just looking for a mountain getaway. We were pleasantly surprised to find a great home surrounded by forest, as well as a charming town, with great restaurants, friendly people and necessary amenities. We would have loved to have spent more time exploring the San Juan River and the hot springs. We definitely want to come back.

Nice hotel in quaint and picturesque mountain town. Stopped here for an overnight stay on a drive from Boulder to The Grand Canyon. a great rest stop in a fun little town. Comfortable room, quiet spot on the outskirts of town. Nice complementary breakfast! Rooms are a bit dated, but very comfortable. Staff were exceptionally friendly and recommended great spots to eat and visit.

Loved the location and the dog friendly property. We were able to sit on the porch with our pup and not be cooped up in a hotel room. The facilities were perfect for our stay and the bed was comfortable. The river was inviting with chairs and tables to sit next to under a shade tree as well. It was a nice and safe place to stop.
