Was a transit stop for an early morning flight. It was fairly late in the even and we still found places that served good tasty food. The pods were easy to find. I would suggest booking beforehand rather than showing up and hoping there is space.

It's just cheap hotels surroundings the airport.
It's just cheap hotels surroundings the airport. Nothing to do or see as far as I can tell but I was only there for a stopover. Hanoi is a brilliant city and I love and recommend it but the area around the airport isn't much. Like anywhere, it's just set up for the airport which makes sense. Maybe there's more to see and do in a slightly bigger radius of the area, I didn't go far.

Only downside is that GPS doesn't work as it sits on a parallel road to the main road and they are the same name. Taxi wouldn't get us there because it wasn't far enough. Not a big fare. We paid extra to take us. The hotel itself was a great value and close to the airport. 5 minutes out. Hotel staff got a taxi to get us to the airport in the morning.
