If you enjoy wine this is a must destination! 250+ vineyards most with tasting opportunity and many with great dining! Close to Cape Town and wonderful surrounding country. To enjoy at its best a stay of 4+ nights is best.

This is a grand old house that is best described as well lived in. Needs a bit of updating. The pool needs some attention. Not at all inviting. I don’t understand why they don’t just get an expert in to give it a thorough clean without doing it themselves. The staff are wonderful.

If you want a superb fish and chips to go Genki. If you want stunning views and great coffee visit Hidden Valley Winery. If you want stunning views and great wine, coffee and food visit Ernie Els Winery.

Close to all shops and restaurants. The rooms are a good size, we had a bath in ours which was great! Beautiful hotel, lovely cosy lounge area for a drink and to read a good book. The pool area is a bit small, but perfect under the huge old oak trees. We had dinner at the restaurant, the food was excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel.
