We loved everything about this hotel. The staff are amazing, the location right in front of a Vaperetto stop, the beautiful building with its recent renovation being perfectly balanced and on-point. I love how they left the fresco art while building the modern rooms below them. The social gathering area on each floor was an awesome space to do photo editing, catching up on emails, or even having a drink while meeting others staying in the hotel. I'd like to give a special mention for the amazing team at this hotel. Prior to arriving, we had sent several emails asking a number of questions. The team always replied promptly and with the following signature, "we remain at your disposal". Throughout our stay, that's exactly how we felt. The entire team was always available to help us. Unfortunately, I lost the record of their names, but I'd like to especially recognize the front desk people and the bartender of Philippines descent (moved to Italy when he was 8) for their truly amazing service. They went out of their way to make our stay was as comfortable as possible.

Loved Venice in late September. I had mixed expectations because of some "smelly" reviews by a friend. Venice did NOT smell when we were there, and the weather was delightful with "just right" temperatures. St. Marks is absolutely remarkable, and just wandering the maze of streets, bridges over canals, and shopping! We took a tour of Murano and Burano hoping to see a bit of the artists creating the Murano glass. This was my least favorite tour of our 3-week cruise-tour. I have seen the making of glass many different times and did not need to see it again. There was no artist creating the beautiful Murano glass pieces as I was expecting; and the tour left us in a very expensive showroom where I fortunately did not purchase anything. I found beautiful Murano pieces for half the price while shopping in Venice proper. The only charm about Burano were the colorful buildings. The lace turned out to be nothing special. We took a wonderful all-day tour to the Veneto Hill Towns which I believe was the highlight of our Venice stay. We saw some diverse architecture and landscapes -- and the highlight was a pizza in Asolo -- the best pizza I will ever eat. Nothing can compare! The finish was seeing Prosecco grapes being harvested -- and a tasting! Venice and the surrounding area made for special memories for my friend and me.
Very nice and interesting place, it's good for business travelers and also for families. The Fortress is huge and unique in this kind of small towns of Veneto region in Italy.

The historic parts of Verona, as with Venice, are the experience more than are the parts. Marble sidewalks and pedestrian streets lead from destination to destination, and although the Hop On Hop Off bus tour is an affordable orientation--as it is in other Veneto cities--the best part is walking around. The main Milan-Venice rail line and the main Munich to Rome lines run through Verona, and for an American service is astonishingly frequent. Verona is a hub for thirty to seventy five minute train rides to Vicenza, Bolzano, Milan, and Bologna.
Vicenza is a charming town with some great architecture as it is the birth place of Venetian architect Andrea Palladio (1508–1580) but refreshingly without a lot of tourists; I recommend it as good base to use to explore other cities in the Veneto i.e Verona, Venice and Padua.
Vittorio Veneto, Carpesicia was picturesque. Our extended family was a few feet away from our B & B. The town square was busy day and night, worth the effort to get there, park, eat and drink. Trattorio Cerva has incredible food and a full bar.
Nice city for 1-day lazy walk with no need to rush. Streets are beautiful and Prato della Vallo is one of the most beautiful squares that I have ever seen. Great base point for exploring Veneto region as Venezia and Verona are so close with great train connections.
The city is a small jewel often skipped by other tourists— it quintessentially Italian - Veneto. Well taken care of, clean and full of life: economically, culturally and historically. The sights are breathtaking. The food is exceptional.
Padua is a very interesting city in the Veneto region. It has a rich history and a lot of nice tourist attractions, including awesome masterpieces like the Scrovegni chapel. Also, it is home to many beautiful churches, including the unbelievable St Anthony basilica, which is richly decorated. Its famous university was founded in 1222 and currently is considered one of the oldest in the world. Aside from its own attractions, it is very convenient to Venice, with the train journey taking just 25 min (when traveling with express trains).
Cross the bridge, 75 mtrs on the left a narrow passage, 100 m and you see the little San Donato church. built 1208, franciscan, where St Antony and St Francis stayed one time. On the left, first floor, is the cell where they (is said) slept. This unknown treasure is older than any other Franciscan church in Veneto.
Treviso
Great place for visiting Treviso and the Veneto region (easy access by train to Venice, Padova, Vicenza, etc), inside the city walls, 5 minutes away from the city center (Piazza dei Signori), and 3 min from the train station. 2-3 Coffee places in the vicinity + a PAM supermarket. Big living room, good bedrooms also, good fit for 4-5 adults (we had a 2 bedroom apartment, there are more to pick from). Really clean, modern, nothing else to ask from. Easy access to the room, contactless check-in/key pickup.
Vittorio Veneto
Is there a 'more than excellent' option? As I would definitely have chosen it for Appartamento Madison. We couldn't have a made a better choice for our stay in Vittorio Veneto. A very comfortable, spotless apartment with all the necessities. A home away from home. Valentina and Michele were extremely welcoming, helpful and the communication with them was excellent. Highly recommend this apartment. I would definitely choose it again if I were to visit Vittorio Veneto in the future.
Valdobbiadene
The house is situated just outside of the city centre, which was just perfect to us. It is surrounded by vineyards owned by the hosts, as they also make their own Prosecco DOCG. The host, Monia, was super nice and made us feel at home. The apartment is very spacious and could easily accommodate many more guests (we were just one couple). It's very well equipped and modern. We will definitely stay there in future visits to the Veneto region.
Perfect location! Close to the railway station (less then 5 minutes), 20 minutes direct train to the Venice S. Lucia. It is easy to get the hotel from Treviso airport (first bus 6 or airlink to the Treviso railway station then train to Mogliano Veneto). Despite the proximity of the railway, the room is very quiet. It is very clean in the room and in whole hotel. The beds are super comfortable. Stable Wifi with good speed. Helpful personnel.
Fantastic location in the city center of Mogliano Veneto, 5 min walk to the train station where you have every 20 min train to Venice. Big plus for the big garden with lots of parking places. Also, we really liked our suite with 2 rooms, so 2 + 3 single beds. The style is old-fashioned, which was pretty cool. Breakfast very good as for Italian standards, hotel staff friendly, reception is always open. We had a fantastic stay in general.
Location is perfect, not far from Treviso airport and just off the main road taking you to the Dolomites and some of the best Prosecco Vineyards in the Veneto region. Don't forget the Restaurant/Pizzeria next door to the Hotel, a real blessing when coming back from some long tours around the area. Park the car, get refreshed and off to some off the bets Pizzas in Montebelluna.
Vicenza
Good position, close to Olimpic Theatre and Corso Palladio, the main street in Vicenza, and not far from the Railway Station (about 20 min. walking). Helpful staff, good value for money, since this is one of the cheapest accomodations in the area and Vicenza is not far from other important places in Veneto. Spacious lockers in the dormrooms (keys are provided) and breakfast included.
Treviso
The hotel is super cozy and nice, just a quick walk from everywhere in Treviso but in a quiet street. We had the inner garden room so we couldn't hear anything, perfect for resting after a full day with activities around Veneto and Friuli region. The staff was helpful and nice, the hotel was clean and I was able to leave my luggage as my flight was later that day.
I've stayed in many hotels around the wider Veneto, including in Venice, Treviso, and Verona. I have no doubt that the Hotel Grande Italia was the best I've been to — incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating staff; great service and local knowledge; excellent food at breakfast; big comfortable rooms with excellent facilities.
Mogliano Veneto
The best part is the excellent location, the apartment is near the train station and easy to find. Mogliano Veneto has also a cauzy center. The host recommended a very good Pizza place in the city. In an apartment, you will find all the necessary stuff. If you do not ready to pay for the area in Venice center, this is a good solution.
Vittorio Veneto
The apartment has everything you need for a pleasant stay. They are furnished in Italian style, which adds charm to the stay. The hospitality of the owner and her son is immense, they welcomed us as part of the family! If you are going to Vittorio Veneto, we recommend staying at Da Caterina. You won't regret it.
We have stayed here second time already. this is very nice place if you want tranel and discover Prosecco hills area and Veneto region . The hotel is so close to Gardaland, very strategically located. The personnel is nice, at your service, very responsive and prompt. The bedrooms are clean, spacious, the whole surrouding is quiet and there is also garage for the car. Really excellent place to stay during your visit to Veneto region.
