The hotel has an Art Deco design and is set in an elegant Edwardian house with some period features. All bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms complimented with luxury Noble Island toiletries. Most rooms also offer stunning views of the river Rothay or the scenic fells. Brilliant location. Our room was right on the river so we went to sleep to the sound of the river flowing, it was stunning! There were a lot of walks around the area to do and the breakfast at the hotel was delicious. There was also a great pub down and the road and some other restaurants and grocery shops. All you need. The room was beautiful and clean and very spacious! Highly reccomend.

There is free parking and spacious rooms with free WiFi and scenic views towards Wansfell. Breakfast was tasty and ample portions . Extra milk etc was readily available . Property was ideal location for the purpose I had travelled for plus good parking areas .

Windermere Hillthwaite Hotel has an elevated position and a terrace with stunning views towards Lake Windermere and the mountains beyond. Some rooms also have views towards the lake and mountains. There is also a guest lounge with a log fire and lake views. Excellent staff, very attentive, great interactions with our four year old boy. Room was stunningly beautiful, bathroom had a wonderful mirror in front of the bathroom that turns into a telly. Afternoon tea was very nice, Scones are very tasty.

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. It offers stone walls and en suite bathrooms. Everything! Such a great. relaxing and special place to stay. We planned to eat out in Keswick some evenings as we were staying for 3 nights. However we couldn’t drag ourselves away as the food was all fantastic. We also loved the way that dogs were treated. They could go everywhere too. They even had a sink outside for muddy paws with warm water and fresh towels.

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake District scenery. Perfect in many aspects. it’s just off the main road, and has a great view. Very nice and welcoming staff. We stayed in the basic double room, good heating system, great water pressure with hot water. We also had a delicious dinner there. They serve some homemade goodies (Their biscuits are delicious). Looking forward to coming back.
