Location was important to me because of work. Parking was a big bonus but nowhere to eat in walking distance apart from Mc Donalds. Price for the room was good to be fair. Doubt I would ever return again.
Centrally located in Caldas da Rainha and inside the shopping mall Rua das Montras, this hotel offers a terrace with city views. All rooms include air-conditioning and a private balcony.

This property is in a perfect location for easy short trips to Obidos, Nazare and other towns nearby. It is quiet and has beautiful views of the ocean and sunsets. The staff was amazing, and breakfast was delicious. We are so grateful to our host for helping explain the ins and outs of the Portuguese toll road system as well! This was such a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Lisbon as we made our way up to more northern points in Portugal!

Caldas is a treasure!
Caldas is a treasure! It’s a small, unassuming town, with gorgeous cobbled streets, a very large segment of walking streets in old town, a very beautiful park to meander in, and a wonderful outdoor market open every morning of the year. I found it and its residents delightful and welcoming. I left my backpack in a store and of course it was right there waiting for me behind the checkout, protected by store employees. I so love Portugal and the warmth and charm of the Portuguese people, This town is a beautiful place to stay if you want to do a very easy one day trip to historic Obidos! I highly recommend staying here. Train station is a tiny walk to town.

A great town to visit. A good transition point for further travels to closeby towns: Obidos, Fox de Arelho, Peniche and other further towns: Lisbon, Porto, Aveiro. Caldas da Raina itself is also worth visit, beautiful buildings, great park with old building of hospital for evening and all day walks.

Wonderful to walk in Dom Carlos I Parque. The trees, flowers, and plants are simply spectacular.
The open air or farmer's market has a super selection of fresh produce and flowers.
Definitely eat at Casa Antero, the best restaurant in town for over 50 years.
Be sure to visit the ceramics museum, the Jose Malhou museum, and the Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro ceramics factory shop.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The location is amazing. Perfect view of the sea from all rooms. Room set up is wonderful and spacious. Beautifully decorated with a great bed and a huge washroom. Breakfast was lovely. The best part of it all was our fantastic hostess Sonia. Sonia made us feel like we were being hosted at her home. She was so sweet and attentive to all our needs. Don’t miss the opportunity to stay at a very special boutique hotel on the Portuguese Silver Coast.
We loved this stop on our tour of Portugal. Beautiful, modern, small hotel. Our large room opened out onto the well-kept garden and pool. Excellent staff that were very friendly and helpful. We loved the location opposite a viewing point with sunset views over the Atlantic and plenty of places to visit within an easy 10 to 20 minute drive. Breakfast was great and included fresh pasteis de nata.
The Lavanda suite that we were in is beautifully furnished and the attention to detail is very evident. Selina and Fabian have created a beautiful oasis. A sponge and dish cloths are provided which we really appreciated.
The property is located close to Caldas da Rainha and Obidos. Views are fabulous. We didn't use the pool because the weather was cool but it looks so inviting.
The cleanliness and brand new feel of the rooms and public areas, quiet yet convenient location that's an easy 10-15 minute walk to the center of action in Caldas da Rainha. Most of all, we loved the rainfall shower in the bathroom and the big, spacious & clean supermarket (Continente) next door with a small cafe with indoor & outdoor seating for a quick coffee or light meal.
The property is in the city center so everything is walkable. There are a wide variety of restaurants and cafes in the area. The unit is very homey and comfortable. We also enjoyed the balcony. We wanted to experience what it would be like to live in a small city in Portugal and Caldas and this unit was perfect. We loved our experience and will definitely return.
The iconic and beautiful building, located dead center in Caldas da Rainha, and a surprising plus, the presence of peacocks simply wondering about the premises!
Staff always nice and the all around decoration details, as it is an all "about ceramic theme" hotel.
Great all around breakfast, served in a beautiful wood table.
Just perfect!
The 19 Tile boutique hotel is very well decorated and has a lot of personality. Each room is dedicated to a local ceramist artist.
It is an old house with a mix of old and new decoration.
The room and bed were very comfortable.
The breakfast was fresh and good.
The staff was very welcoming.
We loved everything about this hotel.
Very nice interior fit out and small touches which made our stay very comfortable. A great outside porch at the back, which our dog loved. Superb host, who gave some very helpful recommendations to make our stay enjoyable. If we are ba k in the area again, we won’t hesitate to try to book again! Definitely recommended.
We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Staff was so nice and rooms were super comfortable + breakfast was nice variety of everything. Especially shoutout to Night Shift guy Telmo and lovely lady to reception!
Beste regards,
Madara
It's not the first time I stay in this hotel, and it is as comfortable and pleasant as I remembered.
Props to the new receptionist I forgot her name. She was very kind and professional.
All the staff is very kind and pleasant
The room is functional and comfortable, though a little small. For one night it was very good. The hotel is well situated from public transportation. The staff was also very helpful. I found the stay quite comfortable.
