To stay in a rural setting with access to a nature reserve is reason enough. You do need an umbrella on the beach as there is no shade. The Sicilian food in the restaurant was exquisite - we had the delicious and expansive tasting menu 2 consecutive nights. Our gorgeous room had a spacious bathroom with a large jacuzzi and a roof terrace which looked over the town and the nearby hills. We used it as a base for visiting the Valley of the Temples. The setting is unforgettable-house in vinyards ,jacuzzi and sauna and large rim flow pool with beautiful vistas of surrounding vinyards.
