Hotel Speyer was easy to find. I needed some cash when I got there and the friendly staff was able to direct me to an ATM that I never would have found otherwise. I was also offered discount tickets to the Technik Museum next door

The hotel was clean and nice. The staff was super helpful especially the person at the front desk. Asked for an extra bed in the room and it was not a problem. Helped solve a parking issue. The breakfast was worth the price highly recommended. Location is fantastic.

The room was really nice, as it was the top-tier room. It also had a nice balcony with a view to the back garden and a cemetery that lays behind the hotel. EV charging was also available with an app, which was super convenient. The room was clean and well furnished / equipped as well.

The building is old, but has been very nicely renovated. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bed was extremely welcoming :) The area is nice and quiet and has necessities nearby. There is also EV charging at the parking lot, which is very convenient. The staff was polite, if not always present.

Very nice old hotel, remodeled to today's standards. Located near center of town. Nice wooden paneling. Refrigerator. Standing fan. Very efficiently arranged bathroom with glass door that provides sufficient privacy. Nice receptionist. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Free parking lot a few streets away.

    Beutiful city, restaurants with decent food, but rude service even though we comunicate in German. It was very clear that the locals (including the bussineses) are not happy with turists. I suspect even more hostility if you speak only English.

    The purpose of my visit was "Brazzeltag" at the Museum Technik had a great two days ,at the same time I visited the Cathedral .The only disappointment was the City museum which has three exhibitions on for which you have to pay extra the main museum is closed so missed seeing the very old bottle of wine

    Stayed in Speyer several times - the Technical museums in Speyer and Sinsheim are excellent. Stuttgart is not too far away (Mercedes and Porsche Museums). Speyer has a lovely cathedral and centre is great for a walk (nice bars and ice cream shops).

    This entire area is very clean and picturesque.

    This entire area is very clean and picturesque. The area has very good roads, both primary and secondary. Signage is easy to understand and follow. There are numerous small restaurants serving wonderful selections of local foods at good prices.

    The place has quite a lot to offer.

    The place has quite a lot to offer. Unfortunately I could not find a walking tour and at the Museum everything was in German, so I missed much. Speyer would benefit of more a touristic infrastructure.

    The staff at the Cathedral Information Office are very...

    The staff at the Cathedral Information Office are very helpful, polite and friendly. The Cathedral employees are also very relaxed, and I appreciate this--just go to other places where the sacristan or the mother superior act as though they own the church. Siter Raphaela Buscher OP gave us a wonderful tour of Saint Edith Stein's memorabilia, and the new postulant, Jenny Kunz, interpreted in English. It was a highlight and a pilgrimage I hope to share with my other catholic friends.

    Hosts were absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. They even allowed us to stay in the common areas even when the hotel was closing down for the Christmas break to wait for our train. Breakfast was fantastic, the apartment was spacious and comfortable.

    Very nice hotel in historic setting of Speyer, next to the Dome. Good parking facilities. Rooms are equipped very modern. Somewhat over priced, but this is conditioned by the outstanding location. In exchange you get a voucher for 10% discount in the nearby Brewery Domhof.

    I booked last minute and all that was available was the apartment. I got that for the price of a room. Unfortunately, as a solo traveller, I had no friends to enjoy it with. The hotel itself is in a perfect spot for one to enjoy the very pretty city. Breakfast was ok.
