The Moores Castle Holiday Suites, hotel in Prestatyn

The Moores Castle Holiday Suites offers accommodations in Prestatyn, 1.8 miles from Prestatyn Central Beach and 7.9 miles from Bodelwyddan Castle.

The Moores Castle is a fun place to stay, if only for the dragon statue outside! It think it's great there are some nice devices in the room: good quality TV, fridge, microwave, and a massaging chair. I also appreciated the snacks and milk left for me, very helpful as I was busy all day and needed a treat.

    Beautiful location.

Beautiful location. If you enjoy walks then the park and beach over the road will not disappoint. Locals where friendly. Shops locally and take aways also. Family pub just down the road, does allowe dogs outside but not inside so we didn't go in there. We didn't go into the town centre, didn't need to.

Such a lovely little town! So peaceful and calm!

Such a lovely little town! So peaceful and calm! As soon as you step out of the train, you can feel the difference! The air is clean! People are lovely and friendly! Oh and the beach is so breathtaking! Not much entertainment if you have very active kids like mine but if you go when the weather is nice then the beach will keep them busy for the whole day!

Pleasant, but possibly a little old fashioned for younger visitors. Lovely wide and sandy beaches. Beautiful villages and countryside behind Prestatyn, great for walkers and cyclists, and Prestatyn is a good start for visiting historic North Wales.

Staff were not interested in selling caravans, was unable to purchase a meal in the main venue because we did not prebook. We weren't informed of this before hand so we left the following morning disappointed. Hopefully you will learn from this I worked for Borne Leisure years ago so I know how to treat patrons.

A great destination if you don't want to take the car.

A great destination if you don't want to take the car. The town centre and beach are a short walk from the train station. There are direct trains to London, Manchester, Birmingham... The seafront has lots of stuff for rain or shine (beach with good sand, a soft play centre an indoor swimming pool, a playground, cafés and restaurants). We had a lovely time.

What a wonderful find. A beautifully furnished, well equipped apartment. We loved the comfortable bed, amazing shower, fully equipped modern kitchen and the great living and dining area. Catherine is a wonderful host, very easy to communicate with and her instructions for check- in and how to use the shower,, heating, appliances etc are so well done and easy to follow. I would absolutely recommend Catherine's apartment and look forward to staying again next time we're in Prestatyn.

We loved everything about The Old Wash House and location. Very snug and cozy. All the facilities were very conveniently placed and everything you could need for a peaceful stay. Lyz was friendly and informative. Nothing was too much trouble and the location was perfectly convenient for the town centre, beach local convenience store and train station. A very dog friendly area with beautiful walks being an extra bonus.

After reading the reviews on Prestatyn pontins we were very dubious and glad we were only using it as a base, we arrived at our chalet and was very surprised it was spotless , the housekeeping team are not given enough credit for what the do and the hours they work ! Food is takeaway only due to COVID which is understandable , but we had a fantastic time and would definitely return to Prestatyn pontins.

House was great, everything you need for a break away. Hot Tub was a lovely bonus, weather was not too great but it didn't stop us enjoying ourselves. Prestatyn has some nice cafes/bars also which allow dogs in. Archie's bar was very nice and chilled as was the Cookhouse. FFrith sizzler was ok, but we had a bad experience on the last time we went but there are other places to go

Convenient location near Prestatyn with a good car park; Pleasant spacious room with desk and sitting area; Good shower room and ample provision for tea-&-coffee. The breakfast was excellent, served with real care and attention to detail by very friendly and welcoming staff. It was a most enjoyable few days and I look forward to returning in the future. Thank you.

The Old Wash House is so comfortable and peaceful. Tucked away for quietness too. It was perfect. Lyz is so friendly and kind and provides a great base in Prestatyn for exploring locally and further in North Wales. There is everything you can think of that’s needed for a stay away from home. I will definitely be hoping to come back again to this wonderful place.

We were pleasantly surprised as the chalets looked a little down at heel with a lot of scruffy nets at each window. Ours had been freshly painted white and was very clean. It had blackout blinds. I believe the other chalets were being given the same treatment. We faced the Beaches Hotel. The staff were all friendly and efficient. Plenty of parking spaces.

My expectations were for a budget hotel , no frills and that's what I got! If you are looking for bells and whistles , look elsewhere . The room was clean , the bed was ok , I slept well enough and the breakfast was good. There is parking , there is a pub , there is wifi, everything I needed for a very brief visit to North Wales.

Under the circumstances the staff were extremely helpful. When we arrived the RedLion had 3 booking’s from booking.com but only 2 rooms. So we didn’t have a room. They organised a room with another hotel nearby for us. Overall a dreadful experience with booking.com.
