Great location in Barnet, set back from the main road so it was nice and quiet while being walking distance to everything.
Minutes from Woodside Park Tube, Glenlyn Hotel has good access to the Wembley Complex, Alexandra Palace and Central London, without the Central London prices.

My double room was large and very comfortable. I was greeted by the loveliest receptionist who arranged an early check in for me. Continental breakfast was included with the room (not an extra £10 as I had thought it would be). The hotel is in a nice area, minutes walk from the tube station and a large Sainsbury’s grocery shop.

My attraction to Barnet is Oak Hill College, where friends are studying for their degrees in Theology. Barnet itself has nice cafes and restaurants and is a relatively safe and quiet area with easy access to London and Heathrow.

Beautiful grounds and an attractive lodge for a quiet, peaceful visit, just off the M25. A great place to stay outside of London, with a direct tube line to South Kensington if you wish to visit the Natural History Museum, Science Museum or the Royal Albert Hall.

There is a main street within a short walk if you need to get any supplies; there seems to be a pretty good variety of eateries too, although we did not visit any on this visit. The tube is about 6-8 mins walk depending on your stride length....so all in all it is a good base to explore as well.

whilst on booking .com website it states free parking no reservation needed we received parking fine.we had registered car at check in.when we queried it with hotel they told us to send in photo evidence of the fine letter. so they can cancel it.we are waiting confirmation of this.the fact they have the ability to do this begs the question why say free parking then subject patrons to this upset

Only drive to get there it’s at motorway M1 and M2 getting to places by public transport would leave you walking around to get to your destination.
The hotels are in the welcome break stops which means you should be driving there the locality is not vibrant so your not going to see people about and plan your trip.
It's a nice secluded location away from the busy high street. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Nice comfortable beds with quality linen. The common areas are also fresh and welcoming. Excellent value. About a 20 minute leisurely stroll along the High Street to High Barnet Tube Station.
The real secret about this place is the restaurant. I highly recommend booking. I shared the squid and the duck salad. Exquisite. Staff and service were absolute top quality.
Definitely going will stay when in the area again.
Comfy, clean with a helpful and friendly staff. While across London with an hour and a half journey, having Heathrow and Cockfosters on the Picadilly Underground (tube) line meant a no change trip from the airport. Brooklyn House is about a ten minute walk to the tube and then about a 30 minute trip into Central London. Further it is on the bus route to the station with the bus stop over the road. The Cockfosters village is about a ten minute walk providing the essentials with a great baker shop.
Although in the same grounds as the owner’s property, the cabin felt private and secluded. There was a lovely area of decking with table and chairs which we would have used had the weather been better. Inside, it is very comfortable with a good size bedroom and kitchen/sitting area. We find the area a perfect place to get into London - we walked to High Barnet underground station, around 20 minutes.
The hotel is wonderful, the facilities are great and the bed was a dream,i had the best night sleep ever.I am really happy and i truly recommend it.Its in a great location surrounded by restaurants and cinemas and more shops on high street are just few bus stops away, buses are just outside the hotel on main road.I will be using them in future for sure,i loved my stay there.😊 20 out if 10 from me.👏
The receptionist is simply amazing, 100 stars, always helpful and with a nice smile - the rest of the staff really friendly also. Absolutely good location, just 5 mins walking from a train station that takes you straight to London central area. Nice food, nice and clean room, everything was absolutely superb.
Free car park also, avoiding you from ULEZ Zone and Congestion Zone.
It was very clean and modern. It was exactly as shown in the photos on the booking. Coffee machine with a good supply and variety of coffee pods. Powerful shower. Even though its on a High Street it is really quiet. Comfortable bed. Good Internet.
Short walk from the tube.
This flat had everything I needed. I will definitely be booking again next time I stay in London.
Fantastic guest house. We stayed in the four person room and it was so spacious and comfortable. The beds were great and it had a lovely big bathroom. Parking was a real advantage as we arrived late at night and it is only a 5 minute walk to the nearest tube station which takes you straight into central London. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.
The property is situated within b walking distance of the tube station, just a few drops from centre of London, ideal. It’s a peaceful area. The property was very clean and spacious, the host was amazing, very welcoming and hospitable, who even gave my daughter a box of chocolates for her birthday. We will most definitely be back soon.
I liked the accommodation and the staff, The location for us was excellent as it was near my son's flat. The room (room 2) was bigger than I thought it would be, it was en suite and very clean. I thought it was really good value in comparison to other hotels in the area. the bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our 2 night stay
It was great to come back to the peace and quiet of Barnet, the apartment and the small but lovely garden space after an exciting day in London. The train connection was very good to city centre and Harvey and Hillary were totally welcoming and helpful.
Staff are pleasant. This hotel is being used a hostel for homeless and people
With mental health issues. I don't have problem with that but the description should point that fact out. Paying £70 a night for living in a homeless hostel is not fair.
The hotel location was great and just what we needed it for - an overnight stay whilst visiting some friends in London. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was plentiful at the hotel.
Beautiful Older Hotel but well Kept. Located walking distance to train station. Front Desk staff did their Very Best to meet your needs while available.
