It is an old Inn located in a beautiful region. We made small excursions to Bodium Castle, Great Dixter House and Gardens, and smaller villages and their churches nearby. The Pub in the hotel was warm and inviting. Harry Cox and his staff went above and beyond for us. We enjoyed generous meals, fun entertainment, and cozy atmosphere!

Delicious food, excellent service, lovely peaceful stay, beautiful historic building, lots to do nearby. Lovely touches in the room like bath robes and fresh milk. Highly recommend a stay here.
The property was clean and tidy. We had a lovely chat with the host on arrival and sorted out what we wanted to do that evening. Despite rain we got up early and went for a walk on the road heading toward Goudhurst listening to the birds and watching the rabbits and deer. E then had homemade muesli, and our wonderful cooked breakfast arrived exactly when we asked for it. The bedroom and living area were perfect for our overnight stay before travelling on to Gatwick (40 mins away) the following morning.
The Inn was beautiful throughout with attention to detail in all areas. The staff were attentive, polite, customer focussed and friendly. The food was delicious and the room was great. When Booking.com let us down with an error with their system and the customer service failed to attend to our problem which left us without option, The Goudhurst Inn came to the rescue! Great customer service! A huge thank you to Stacey, Michelle, Alex and team. We will be back 😊❤️ x
The hotel was lovely, staff really friendly and they went beyond to help me with some requests which I appreciated. Room was beautiful and very spacious. The one thing I did not like was that I could not turn the towel rail off and I have a problem with heat but at least I could open the window fully which helped. The breakfast was really good.
This is not my first stay at this hotel. I love the way the ancient structure has been preserved and is still in comfortable good use. We were very well looked after by all the staff that we met, and who served our excellent breakfast.
An old inn, full of character, that has been modernised on the outskirts of Goudhurst. It's very nicely done. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and bright and the bed comfy. Breakfast was a highlight!
Just outside Goudhurst Village. Lovely hotel, rooms very good, clean and comfortable everything you want. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good. Will definitely stay at the Goudhurst Inn again.
Lovely old hotel & Inn in a very picturesque part of Kent with fabulous views of the Weald of Kent. Very nice room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, nice evening meal & nice breakfast
