Exceptional place to stay. We had a warm welcome, really great helpful staff. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. We has such a fantastic time, and wonderful comfortable bed, very relaxing. Everything was high quality including our breakfast ( lovely bright breakfast room with super views). Easily one of the best (actually, probably the best!) Place we ever stayed. Highly recommended, many thanks

We have visited Inverness three times now, but this was our first stay in Nairn. The beach is very welcoming with plenty of space to walk, run, play and enjoy the views; this is the kind of beach I would visit and walk along every day if I lived there. Located close nearby are various historical places to visit (Cawdor Castle, Culloden, Clava Cairns) and Inverness is not far away. Not being much of a "city person" I love to wake up to views and fresh air -- and Nairn offers places like the Invernairne Hotel that enable you to do that and still visit so much nearby.

Lovely seaside town near Loch Ness.
Lovely seaside town near Loch Ness. The beach was lovely to stroll along, as was the canal. Lots of restaurants dotted around town. An amazing ice cream shop located in park near the beach is worth seeking out. The architecture of some areas was stunning old Edwardian homes, really enjoyed wandering around the streets looking at them.

Charming town. I recommend visiting the Nairn Museum first.
Charming town. I recommend visiting the Nairn Museum first. Their volunteers are helpful and have first hand knowledge of the history of the town. I recommend having a car to travel to sites around Nairn that are too far to walk.

Nairn is a very nice town except for the High St which like most in Scotland is suffering at present. However nice to remember the old shops closed now Mackays grocer, Rose Brothers, Gauls toy shop Heards Morgantis to name a few, Nice to see Pat Fraser is still there. Recommend the Classroom at the top of the High Street to eat. Very easy to walk around and nice walks at the river.
The garden was very well kept and had great views. Sitting out in the evening was very pleasant. The young man who checked us in was exceptionally helpful and courteous. He was always on hand to help, and took us on a short tour of the facilities which we really appreciated and thought was a lovely touch. The hotel is within a very short & pleasant walk along the beach front to the town & best part of the beach. Would probably use again when we next return to Nairn. Such a charming little town with a great beech.
We loved the feel of the Invernairne as soon as we arrived - really relaxed and welcoming. Our room was clean and well- presented and the beds were comfy. We had a room with a wet room and a fantastic shower. Having an honesty bar, in a stunning room overlooking the sea, epitomises the hotel. And the location, with direct access down to the seafront couldn’t have been better. Regrettably, we only stayed one night, but would have loved to stay much longer. I’m sure we’ll be back at some point.
Everything was perfect. The location was amazing, very private and peaceful with lots of wildlife. The rooms were grand and the bed was the comfiest bed I've come across in Scotland. The staff are amazing! Very very helpful and friendly. Made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived and gave us lots of information about our trip around Scotland.
The breakfast was very tasty! Would recommend and will definitely be staying here again if we are in the area!
Excellent location, secure off street parking, very close to shops, supermarkets, take aways and the wide variety of great cafes and restaurants and of course Nairn’s stunning beaches and golf courses. The property was very clean and comfortable and had everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Nairn is the perfect base to explore the north, south, east and west of bonnie Scotland.
Our hosts, Terry and Marion, were so gracious and welcoming. They made us feel like family. The room was spacious and the bathroom very spacious. The place was extremely clean. My kids loved their dog Seamus! And Marion's porridge was the best we had in Scotland! I would happily stay there again and hardily recommend the Haylodge to other travelers.
The house has a great location not far from the port and the sea and in a street with restaurants and shops. A supermarket and petrol stations where a few minutes drive away. It is near attraction such as Fort George and driving to Inverness and Loch Ness was easy too. The Kitchen and house were well stocked.
The flat is very comfortable and is in a wonderful location. We went to nearby Inverness by car.I could do laundry and make meals for my kids which is quite helpful when traveling. My children enjoyed the comforts of home and watching DVDs. The hosts do think of the needs of travellers and that's refreshing.
Sparkling clean, cosy and comfortable, great proximity to Nairn High Street with wee independent shops, supermarkets and eateries/takeaways.Friendly and responsive hosts.Warm and toasty inside even on cold days.Minutes away from beautiful Nairn beach, the bus and rail station, Nairn Community Centre.
The house was very homely and welcoming. Delicious breakfast and comfortable room with all you need for your stay. David was a great host and we enjoyed chatting with him over breakfast. We felt like we were guests at their home not like we were in hotel at all. Would definitely recommend this place.
The People. Paul, Charlotte, Mary, and the entire team at Bandstand were terrific. They made us feel at home whether it was in the restaurant, bar, or with our lodging. My buddy and I a great time in Nairn as a whole, but The Bandstand was a highlight of the entire week spent in Scotland.
I stay here upon every trip home to Scotland. I joke to my friends I go for the breakfast but truthfully it’s the peace and quiet being in the Macmillan suite enjoying the scenery outside come rain or shine. I look forward to being there again in 2 weeks time.
Very friendly welcome. A lovely spacious room. Pleasant view, peaceful and central to beaches, harbour and town.
The room was of a higher standard than we had at an expense hotel, only a few days earlier. It really is a lovely place to stay.
Room was good what staff there were were hard working and pleasant unfortunately and also in all places in nairn you had to go further afield for tea or coffee I think I would go back to this hotel when things have settled down
It was a beautiful setting, from the highland cows to the view of the water. The location was perfect both for walking to the beach and town for dinner, as well as our early morning drive to the Inverness Airport.
Great value for money. All the staff were really welcoming. Food was excellent at dinner and also breakfast. Couldn’t ask for any more and would definitely stay here if in Nairn again.
Gorgeous location, super staff, lovely accommodations. Why stay in Inverness when this place is here? Grand old building suited up in fine style, most enjoyable.
Surprising nice hotel hidden away in the back of Nairn with very nice rooms and a really nice view across the Moray Firth. Great choice for business or leisure.
Beautiful wee gem in the small fishing cottages of nairn, this would be tbe original homes for fisherman. Loved we just around corner from sea and harbor.
Quiet, peaceful, very spacious, nicely furnished place with all the amenities you may need. Nice location as well, as a base for sights around Inverness.
