Location was fantastic, the river and the train line going past, and nice and close to Windermere. The price for breakfast included was amazing. Also inclusion of the spa and pool was great, it's lovely to see an old building still being used.

Breakfast was served by the open fire. Lots of fresh quality ingredients and great portions to set you up for the day.
Room had lots of character and the separate lounge area was great to unwind after a busy day!
I cannot fault anything to be honest.
A tip would be to take bathrobes for when you finish swimming and then you can change at your property because it can get a little bit crowded when the next booking of the swimming pool come in. Slots are booked so that you and your family can have the pool to yourselves privately.
