Staff was super lovely and accommodating. Very cozy spot on the Loch, wish we got to explore the town a bit more as they left some great recommendations. Dinner on site was delicious and it was a very picturesque location to stay!

Cooked breakfast at in-house cafe was good and filling, lots of veggie options. Family room was very spacious. Old hotel, a little tired but with character. Secondary glazing worked well to reduce traffic noise.
Beautiful Loch side walk. Very peaceful. The lodge has most things we needed. A bit run down, but just cosmetic. Lots of hot water and the bed was quite comfortable. Be prepared to drive about 30 mins if you want to eat away from the hotel.

St Fillans is a pretty lochside village beside Loch Earn...
St Fillans is a pretty lochside village beside Loch Earn within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. There are a few hotels offering meals and drinks, a small village shop/cafe, a watersports hire facility, a nine-hole very scenic golf course which welcomes visitors and offers club, trolley and buggy hire and does really nice snacks and light meals in its licensed clubhouse. There is a fairly level cycle track extending to Comrie in one direction and linking towards Calendar to the west. St Fillans is well placed for access to Perthshire and Stirlingshire, and a lovely day out is a drive to Killin to view the Falls of Dochart, or to Balquhidder to see Rob Roy's Grave. St Fillans is on the bus route between Oban in the west and Dundee in the east.

We ate at the Four Seasons Hotel...dining there is an excellent reason for going!
The village is easily accessible from Edinburgh and Glasgowm and the roads are good. Once there, one can participate in the usual waterside activities, but it is best for walking

I liked st Fillians because it it only an hour from Glasgow.
I liked st Fillians because it it only an hour from Glasgow. Beautiful walk across a small bridge along from hotel. Flat and plenty beautiful scenery. Spotted a few fishing along the loch so would be ideal if you enjoy fishing. If you want a short break in a beautiful location not too far from Glasgow then i would recommend this wee village
Fantastic location, right on a Loch, with its own beach. Woodland walks behind property. Direction given at reception..Lovely large room with en-suite bathroom. Old fashioned hotel attitude, so super dog friendly. Dogs treated as guests themselves not as an addition to me.
Water bowls throughout hotel, even go towels on the radiator in lobby so you can dry your dogs if they have a paddle or swim in the loch…my two did exactly that..
The staff were excellent. Very helpful polite and friendly.
We stayed in a chalet which was small but very cosy and comfortable. The view from our chalet was stunning.
The food served in the hotel was first class, especially the porridge with honey, cream and Drambuie.
St Fillans is an excellent base to explore Scotland with excellent places to visit in every direction.
Looking forward to coming back again.
We stayed in the self-catering Lodge at the back of the hotel, which was compact and generally well appointed. Although we did not have a loch side view, the location was away from the road and quiet, with the added bonus of visiting red squirrel. The village setting is lovely, and convenient for exploring the Trossachs.
Amazing cottage in a great location and near the Loch Earn.
The cottage had everything we needed, very comfortable and clean.
Catrina is a great host, very helpful, easy and friendly communication.
St Fillans has some wonderful walks on the doorstep of the cottage and a visit to Ben Vorlich is a must.
A really lovely little cottage, super small but well kitted out and perfect for a short stay to explore the area.
The cottage is in a nice secluded spot with great walks and Loch Earn on your doorstep.
The Achray House Hotel, a short walk away, does some lovely food.
The Loch View! We stayed here quite by accident and it turned out lovely! The bus stop is right at the hotel. We enjoyed wine and a cheese tray for dinner as we arrived late and restaurants nearby were booked. Wonderful to meet so many dogs on our travels also.
We stayed in one of the Chalets, really beautiful setting and the views were great! The owner was so wonderful and the best part about the hotel was how dog friendly it is, we even took our two pups to the hotel restaurant. We will definitely be back!
The layout of the Bothy was fantastic. Hotelier’s could learn from Pamela and Gordon’s attention to detail and taste! myself and my partner would not have changed anything about it and could not have had a better experience.
Easy to find hotel and the location was nice with view of the lake. Clean and large room with refrigerator and a large bed. The continental breakfast had various selection and was very nice.
The Hotel was lovely , clean and looks like recently styled very nice decor. loved how dog friendly it was , will definitely return for a longer visit as area was exceptionally beautiful.
Very clean, comfortable and quiet. The little cottage has everything you need for a dog friendly break away. Loved it. Staff friendly and efficient. Hotel restraunt lovely too.
The view was amazing, overlooking the loch. So relaxing. Lovely local walks. Nice hotel restaurant less than 100 metres away. Lots of villages only a short drive away.
