People of Colac are so friendly.
People of Colac are so friendly. Everywhere we went, they smiled and greeted us friendly. Nice restaurants and shops. I love Colac now. Thank you people of Colac for making my visit to your lovely town so enjoyable.

Lovely town.
Lovely town. Babil Oddfellows is a great Turkish restaurant in a beautifully renovated period building. Lake View Cafe has a great view of Lake Colac and is an ideal eatery when weather is good with plenty of outdoor seating.

Stayed at Colac central motel on main street was great close...
Stayed at Colac central motel on main street was great close to shops. Went to La Porchetta for tea was amazing as had chicken Parm agama was cooked so well. Only had time to shop and see the lake as was on short stay overnight but will be going back to see more. Colac was a very beautiful country town beside the lake that is well worth visiting.

Only problem was the thousands of semi-trailers travelling right through town every day...Noisy..and the animal trucks with animals on smelled...for a minute each time..they should provide a by-pass for their convenience and ours

1. Judy, the reception staff was very kind and helpful to arrange room change upon arrival for me and also lent me an umbrella upon special request. Please note you can request ground level or upper level room during online booking
2. Nice ambience and easy walking to everywhere in the Colac town

Beautiful old cottage with modern facilities. Double garage at rear which was ideal for our golf cart and trailer. Bedrooms were large and beds very comfortable. Quiet area of Colac but not far to eateries.
