Tablelands has plenty on offer as far as scenery, bush walks and food, restaurants, very friendly and welcoming Yungaburra Pub! Nicks restaurant! And Herberton was adorable Herberton historical museum was amazing!

The Motel is on a hill with a pleasant outlook and easy access. There is a Chinese Restaurant (which is excellent) right at the end of the Motel. The rooms are large and the kitchen facilities are great.

Atherton is beautiful full of history.
Atherton is beautiful full of history. Atherton is a great place to base yourself to see the surrounding areas from. We found out after we had booked for only 2 days that most of the small towns around the area are only like 30-45 mins away bit sad we didnt stay longer. We could of stayed a week so we could of seen more. The lady and gentlemen from the Historical Society are so full of information about the area and surrounds it was amazing. Would highly recommend a visit to the Historical Society first when here to learn about the area the plan your visit. As it was this lady that told me about a little town called Irvinebank which We did visit.

It was pleasant having a coffee in the morning and observing them. There's a well equipped kitchen and a BBQ. We had our grandchildren over for dinner and a swim. It was a great place for them to visit us while we were in town. The living room has very comfortable arm chairs for relaxing and watching a movie.
