Might be good in summer, nice long beach with fine, white sand. But when we were there the water was dirty and the beach was covered in knee-deep seaweed. And it was winter. Cafes but no restaurants, only eating options at night we’re the pubs - The Crown being the better choice. Fishing not good either - maybe due to dirty water.

The first thing strongly recommended is head to Beachport from Kingston and enjoy the Bowen Scenic Drive - It is the best Ocean Drive and is breath taking not only for views but U can get as close to the water and rocks as u want. If GPS dependent, plan ur day as Internet may not be great. Kingston Crab a must visit and Robe Coastal Walk is amazing The sunsets are beautiful

Kingston is a charming little sea-side town and abounds in history, which is well signed so you can read about the old buildings etc. The locals are friendly and helpful and the beach walks and town walks are interesting and relaxing. Shopping is great too with a local IGA and foodland - both well stocked. We had breakfast at the Bliss Cafe - great coffee!!

The staff specially Kelly who went above and beyond to accommodate us in and out of the hotel. Location is the best just over looking the bay, the shops and cafes just around the corner. The town is very nice, spotless clean and quite!!! Thanks Kelly!! The sunset was breath taking from the hotel and from the pier which is located few steps strol from the hotel. The long stretch and very wide strip of lawn along the shore is really a plus.

Have stayed here several times for an annual golf competition. Older hotel but well maintained and clean. Coffee and tea facilities. Pool which is always welcome in summer. and a BBQ to use as well, Beds are comfortable. Staff always friendly and the location is right on the beach front so A1. Good communication also on a couple of questions I had at the start of the booking.

Lacepede Bay Motel is in a great location opposite the beach near the jetty and near the main street where shops cafe and hotel are. The nearby hotel is very good for a meal and there is a great lunchtime fish and chips bar. two cafes open at 7am for breakfast - "Bliss" is excellent", in the old courthouse
