A cute cosy corner to rest and recharge after a day of hiking and adventuring. We loved the deck where we could stay warm with the chunky cosy woollen blankets provided and gaze at the mountains in the distance, or look up at the Milky Way at night. Great location, just a short drive to Freycinet National Park and eateries. We will definitely be coming back.

    Didn’t see much of Swansea.

    Didn’t see much of Swansea. Booked the place for Freycinet national park. It is about 45 min from the national park but there were a few interesting seafood place along the way. It’s a quiet little town and IGA closes at 6pm. There is an EV charger in town. I think it makes an ideal place to stopover if you want to relax visit the oyster farm and wineries around the area.

    Lovely coastal town with all needs met such as eateries, Supermarket, petrol stations, accommodation. The only downside is that most of the takeaways etc close too early. 5pm, 6pm !!! Supermarket 6pm as well. We were there in mid December, 2024

    Very easy to travel round, ate at the RSL couple nights, both very busy, good choice of food, good prices. It was off season and a few eating places were closed. We drove around the Bay of Oysters to Freycinet but it poured rain the whole time which was very disappointing.

    Our Hosts were outstanding their knowledge and friendly approach really enhanced our stay in this huge apartment. The breakfast supplied were amazing and self cook which we really enjoyed as we could have it at our own pace. The area and town were easy to access and we would love to go back one day. Highest recommendation for this property.

    The Loontitetermairrelehoiner Track is a wonderful walk around the coast from Waterloo Beach to Schouten Beach. The walk itself is not as long as the name suggests. Very nice views of Great Oysters Bay, with backdrop of Freycinet Peninsula. As usual in Tasmania, there is nearly no one to be seen on the main street of this town after about 7pm. It's refreshing.

    Sleepy small town, stayed ealry in the week limited dinner options all closed early which was a suprise as we travelled early Jan 2023 thought this was tourist season. when we return to Tassie in the future would like to return and stay a couple of days to explore what the town and area have to offer

    This is the second time that I have stayed at the Swansea Holiday Park in a cabin. The cabins have everything you need with a great little kitchen, bathroom, living area and a comfy bed with an electric blanket for when it is cold. You can park your car next to your cabin. You can access the beach from the park and it is a short drive into town to the shops, cafes, pub. I would stay here again.

    Had a wonderful stay at Swansea Beach Chalets! The accommodation was spotless, well-maintained, and perfectly located for a relaxing getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering great recommendations for things to do around town. Waking up to the beautiful coastal views was a highlight! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Swansea.
