Oaks Port Stephens Pacific Blue Resort, hotel in Tea Gardens

Oaks Port Stephens Pacific Blue Resort provides relaxing resort accommodations in Salamander Bay.

Pool was amazing but cold I guess to be expected, would only be good on hot days in summer Spa needed to be warmer and staff needed to monitor parents allowing children to ignore rules splashing and kicking turning on and off constantly (button needs to be higher so children can not access), putting heads under water. One child under 2yrs went under water a near drowning parent was standing above them watching other children in the other pool unsupervised. Strict instructions need to be given at check in for families with young children.

We had a lovely early Christmas with our children and our 5 grandkids aged 4 to 9. The house was well equipped, spacious, clean and very comfortable. The spa bath and pool were a hit with all. We walked to the local for lunch which had great playground in the beer garden for the kids and the meals were delicious. The beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. We all will definitely be back! Highly recommend a visit to Tea Gardens.

We were in Tea Gardens for business, attending the Seniors Expo. We didn't get enough time to go to as many of the sights as we would have liked but I would highly recommend that you take the time to visit the beaches, walk around the town and go for long drives in all the little nooks and crannies. It is a very beautiful place to visit. My colleague mentioned that she will be back and bringing her husband for a nice weekend.

We were both satisfied with the room Beds were comfortable.

We were both satisfied with the room Beds were comfortable. The only (minor)criticism would be that we were not given face washers and hand towels for the final night but the motel seemed very busy and this may have just been an oversight and we did not worry about asking

Tea Gardens for us has most everything - especially but not definitively away from school holidays - access to an ocean beach for morning walks, just great fish & chips at Ship Ahoy and of course Tillerman's Restaurant (French themed & just so special) as well as Mumm's if you like seafood!

It was clean, & very spacious with great views over the inlet. There was a garage for our vehicle and a washing machine if needed. The master bedroom had a fabulous ensuite with a spa bath. The balcony is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the sun, breeze on a warm day and the view. And the BBQ was in good condition. Plenty of room for two couples to have their own space as well. It was located in a nice quiet area but easy walk in to Tea Gardens. The agent was nice and gave us a late checkout.

The lady at the front desk was lovely. I was.met with a free upgrade to an executive king suite. Nice and roomy. Right at the end so it was nice and quiet. The bed was big and comfy. Spa was amazing after kayaking all day. I had a private outdoor seating area. And free parking around the corner. Also the tea gardens country club was next door so I could pop there for dinner and drinks. Locationl was great. Close to the water, shops and town.

The hotel is part of premises that include a large pub with an outdoors area, probably the largest venue within a radius of a few kilometres. If you fancy a beer after your check-in, this is the place to have it. The room was clean, just bear in mind that they're next to the street so you may hear some traffic noise in the morning.

The house is very well presented, comfortable, and is within walking distance from Tea Gardens cafes and restaurants. The deck area is great to relax while trying to spot some wildlife in the bush behind the house. The hosts are quick to respond.

All was comfortable. I appreciate the idea is no cooking, but not even a knife to cut a salad? Otherwise, faultless. Appreciate the stay and the motel cats were quite friendly, approachable and affectionate

Great location in Tea Gardens. Very busy during holiday time, a little wait for food at bistro but worth the wait. Live music over weekend. Can hear music in room, but finishes around 11pm.
