IsraelThe easiest ten I've ever given, we were greeted by the friendly kangaroo Holly and by the wonderful hosts Greg and Terry.
Though out the stay they were kind and helpful and helped us to spot the abundance wildlife in the area (wallbies and koalas) the room was lovely with a vintage wood and golden design, very well maintained and clean. Bed was comfortable and the in room bath was a great plus.
Breakfast was delicious...
Highly recommend!!

Checking in and out, was a very straightforward affair. Was only a 1-night stay but if ever in Grafton again ... know where I'm heading.

We loved the look of the old town and we would have liked to have stayed longer to check out the shops and try some other places for dining. We chose to go to the Ulmarra Hotel for dinner. It was 7.30. We were expecting...PUB, closing 10.00??, kitchen may close 8.00 ??? NOT...we were told that they were closing... Then they said, "O.K", but you have to order NOW!! NO, we couldn't have coffee. THEY WERE CLOSING... We were given a pizza menu. Because we couldn't decide which one we would have to share we were told again that we had to order NOW. Don't you realise that we are CLOSING. We are both 80 y.o. and I need a walking stick. If it hadn't been raining, if we had known where else to go, we would have left. But we just apologised for being late and quickly ate our pizza and went back to our accommodation. This review may not be what you were expecting but we loved The Bank B & B and we loved the town and that so many people loved the town so much that they chose to live there and preserve their homes and the town buildings to live in a little piece of history. As it was a week day, we had the whole wonderfully renovated house to ourselves. It was warm, well located by the clarence river and across the road from the well known Ulmurra hotel. Living area was spacious and comfortable as was the dining area. Practically everything had been thought of in the kitchen, and food for our choice of breakfast was supplied.
