By day, view the falls from the riverfront promenade, or for an up-close-and-personal experience, the Hornblower Niagara Cruise takes you right into the swell. Rain ponchos are provided. Alternatively, there’s the Journey Behind the Falls – a walk through the rock behind Niagara. Handy portholes help you experience the thundering water.
Slightly downstream are the American Falls, less well-known and less impressive, but worth a look. At night, both falls get illuminated by colored lights – an incredible sight. Further downstream is the Rainbow Bridge which you can walk across to get an American stamp in your passport. Just check your visa requirements first.
The city itself has 7 golf courses, with one right by the river – be careful with your swing! Other Niagara Falls attractions include casinos, movie theaters and Marineland Canada, featuring the world's largest whale habitat for viewing orcas both above and below ground.

I love to visit this area! I return almost every year! Was there last year 3x and this was my 2nd trip this year. The WEGO bus is the best way to get around to all the attractions for a reasonable price. Its very easy to get around Niagara Falls. If you are prepared to walk, you can find all day parking for $10 near AI Buffet Breakfast and Dinner. The breakfast here is very reasonably priced and enjoyable. Sky Wheel is great for couples and families. Maid of the Mist Tour is truly iconic! Journey Behind the Falls is a must! The Floral Clock is very beautiful! There’s something for everyone in Niagara Falls. Games, rides, great food, shows, walking paths, and The Falls!!! There are so many restaurants and attractions. You’ll never be bored. Remington’s early bird couples’ dinner special is a gold mine. Singing wait staff, delicious food, great price. Coco’s pizza and entertainment good for late night fun. The falls are beautiful.
The falls are beautiful. I have been there several times throughout my life. The only upsetting part is how much it has changed. The tourism has taken over. Now the parking is so far away, it is 36.00 to park in every parking lot, it is best to park and buy the bus tickets. You'll go broke just paying for parking. The motels and restaurants charge to park to patronize their business. The casino also charges to park there. The flowers throughout the town are just beautiful. My Cousin Vinny's Restaurant has a band that plays every night in the summer months. The band we listened to was great. The lady singing is there 3 nights a week and worth going to see. The boat ride up to the falls was disappointing for me. Having rode the Maid of the Mist years ago, which was amazing, this ride seemed to be more about getting you soaked instead of the view of the falls. It was very difficult to take pictures. Everyone we come across was very pleasant. It has been a lot of years since we had visited the falls, we have decided that this will probably be our last.Guest review byHarding

The decor of the room felt a little outdated, but this can only be expected with it being a hugely popular and busy hotel with tourists. The base cost of a room also reflected this with it being slightly overpriced. We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Marriot.
