Thank you to the owner of the hotel, who was so lovely and accomodating for everything. We dined for both dinner and breakfast and both were great and very tasty. The staff were very helpful. The views are incredible. We sat out on the terrace having drinks until the sun started to set. The mountain views are amazing. You are very high up (around 1500m) in a very sweet Swiss mountain town. You have to see it! Its very authentic and we loved that. Everything that you needed in the rooms.

Our group of friends just finished a 5-day New Year’s Eve holiday at Hotel Alpenhof, and we are still talking about how incredible the experience was. To put it simply: this is the best 3-star hotel I have stayed in for years. From the moment we arrived, the service exceeded every expectation. The staff members were remarkably attentive, warm, and professional; they have a rare talent for making you feel completely at home while maintaining impeccable standards. We stayed on a half-board basis, and every meal was a highlight. The food was consistently excellent—thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. For the wine lovers in our group, the wine selection was a pleasant surprise, offering great variety and quality that perfectly complemented our dinners. A few things that stood out: Impeccable cleanliness: The hotel was spotless. It was clear that nothing was left to chance; the attention to detail in the rooms and common areas was evident throughout our stay. Atmosphere: Despite being a busy holiday period, the ambience was relaxing and welcoming. Value: The quality of service and dining felt like it belonged in a much higher category. At the end of our five days, I wished we could have stayed longer. If you are looking for a place where you are treated with utmost attention and every detail is handled with care, I cannot recommend Hotel Alpenhof enough.
