It’s a beautiful property. Spotless, well looked after, different than any place we ever stayed at. We arrived late, around 21:00. We were greeted by the front desk person who said “we were waiting for you, are you hungry ? We can get you some food”. I was speechless. During our travel through Europe we stayed in 9 different hotels. That includes Hilton and Radisson. Nobody greeted us like that. We liked everything about this place. The hospitality, friendly staff, the room, decor and the amazing outdoor area. The food was delicious. We never had such a variety of food for breakfast.

Lovely property with clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was wonderful with many options. We also ate at the restaurant one night and the food was very good. The staff was phenomenal and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

    Rosenheim is an intermediate town between Munich and Salzburg. The town is pleasant but unremarkable. For rail travellers it is a good (and often cheaper) base to to explore these cities as well as the Chiemsee, Berchtesgaden and the Bavarian mountains. The local Flotzinger brewery, restaurant and beer garden are recommended but are so popular with local people that unreserved places can be scarce (especially when rain closes the garden)

    This is a lovely city.

    This is a lovely city. This was my second time but it want be the last .we will visit again. Walking in the town centre was great. All speak English. The restaurants all you feel welcomed. Rosenheim will see you again .

    Rosenheim has one of the best, if not the best, Technical...

    Rosenheim has one of the best, if not the best, Technical Universities of Applied Sciences in Bavaria, perhaps in all of Germany. The university attracts students from near and far, offers a delightful buffet of courses, is very well-equipped and staffed with excellent professors, technicians, administrators and the such like.

    History never Lies - and Rosenheim has PLENTY.

    History never Lies - and Rosenheim has PLENTY. It suited us as a base to "venture" of to the Palace of King Ludwig 11 on Herrenchiemsee. The train journey from Rosenheim to Prienam am Chiemsee of 16 minutes then the transfer, short 50 mitres walk to catch the Historical 13 minutes "narrow" gauge train sometimes steam train but we were "Diesel" pulled - very USER friendly. The ferry port of Prien / Stock Harbour which the "little" train drops you off is Magnificent. You are practically on the Ferry Dock(s) - to commence - "board" the Ferry - of your island(s) adventures.

    This apartment was amazing!

    This apartment was amazing! One of the best kitted apartments I’ve rented. The only negative was the location - predominately light industrial. However, there are 3 grocery stores & a shopping center within easy walking (less than 1/4 mile). Plus, if arriving by train, the train stop is directly behind the building. It’s an easy drive to the historic old town which houses an incredible wood museum!

    We came to Rosenheim to visit family, but it is a charming small city with quaint city center and lovely surrounding countryside. We enjoyed the walking trails along the river within sight of the alps. We enjoyed local festivals and good food. We used it as a launching point to visit Munich and Oberammergau, Germany; Vienna and Kufstein, Austria; and Florence/Tuscany, Italy by train.

    We stayed in the hotel’s annex, which is architecturally very appealing, and our family room was modern, beautifully furnished, and impressively spacious. Breakfast was excellent, and the peaceful surroundings made for a very relaxing stay. While the sound insulation could be a bit better and the beds slightly more comfortable, these were minor points compared to the overall experience. A wonderful place for a family getaway!

    Travelled with my 17yo son, would have been good to have 2 single beds rather than a double bed. Staff very friendly and helpful, the hotel is lovely and clean. Location is a couple of minutes walk from the train station. Easy access to the town with plenty of cafes, restaurants and shopping, all the locals are welcoming. Breakfast within the hotel is available at a extra charge however there is not a huge selection.
