The colonial Zone of Santo Domingo is stunning, with a lot of Museums, A beautiful Cathedral, a very active nightlife, cafes, restaurants a so much. Perfect for walking and relaxing, very Bohemian vibe. Recomendations: Mosquito bar, La casa del ron with a stunning view of the Cathedral and Sabina with a very bohemian style. If you want a more modern vibe then stay in the Piantini district, With a lot of modern bars, restaurants like Sarah and a lot roof top around the city. and a very cosmopolitan vibe, however, be aware that the traffic is chaotic and stressful during peak hours. It feels like a hidden gem, when you enter it surprises you with very stylish and airy common areas. The hotel staff was exceptionally attentive and polite, it felt as a service from much higher rated facilities. The interior is pretty and clean. Also we appreciated the earlier check in offer and tasty breakfasts.
