Great hotel, looks cool, well designed and comfortable. There is a restaurant on site (we did not try it) and parking as well. Badalona is a cute place just outside Barcelona (not so close to the center but about 30-35 euros by cab, or you can take public). We picked it because it's just off the highway but were surprised at Badalona itself, which is worth a visit.

The unit was huge and very spacious with good closet space! And it included all the necessary kitchen items. It was centrally located to restaurants, beach, etc. Communication with the owner was simple and he responded always very promptly. The restaurants in Badalona btw are excellent!

We absolutely loved our stay! The place is pure magic, beautifully suited on olive farm/vineyard. Our dome was pristine clean, uniquely decorated, very welcoming, and inviting. The owner, Manelo is the most welcoming, kind, generous, and attentive host. We had a bottle of champagne upon our arrival waiting for us and 2 big bottles of delicious sangria made on the farm in the fridge. We loved it so much and highly recommend Manelos place. Treat yourself and your loved one to the unforgettable experience in the magic setting.

The house is immaculate and has literally everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is close to the beach, supermarkets, and the center of Badalona. Also, Barcelona is very close to the car and much public transport pass close to the location of the house

    The hotel was well located on the promenade with plenty of eating and drinking options. The beach was right opposite the hotel and the train to central Barcelona was close by and a 20 minute train ride.

    BADALONA HAS SOME LOVELY SHOPS AND RESAURANTS. IT HAS A LOVELY BEACH. PARTS OF THE TOWN DIDNT FEEL PARTICUARLY KEEN ON HAVING TOURISTS. IT WAS CLEARLY A RESIDENTIAL AREA BUT VERY FAMILY ORIENTATED AND SAFE.

    Badalona is a great town/city near to Barcelona, which is easily accessible by train and metro. Plenty of great bars and restaurants both on the beach and in the centre. Highly recommend Badalona if you want to be close to the centre of Barcelona, but do not want the mad rush and crowds of the city every day of your stay.

    Our review of our Hotel Mirimar: We have had the most excellent short holiday here. (A surprise trip for my 21yr old). Our room is one of the last to be restored. (The new ones look great). We just did not mind this situation as we have got the best view going. (Overlooking the sea). And the service & atmosphere here is just super. Always a smile and a chat in reception. Happy to assist & advise. Quick to sort any problem. Coffee & water to buy at reception. Safe in room. Kettle if you ask. Parasol if you ask. Beach towels if you ask. Airconditionned room. Really a home-to-home hotel. Just 83 steps to the sand. Crystal clear (though deep) water. Road nextto beach just for joggers and cyclists and dogwalkers. Council thoroughly washed walkways & roads twice in 3 days Many places to eat. Area wheelchair & rolator friendly, (not sure if one can get to water's edge somewhere) Showers on beach, volleyball nets, local outdoor pool, local paddleboard hire. Local train and metro, (quick to Barcelona) I recommend this place I hope to return...VERY soon.

    8n general i could say that Badalona has some issues to solve., it has a big problem with the management of waste and cleanines of streets and public places . I mean the excretions of dogs that are everywhere..

    This my second stay at this hotel and I recommended to my friend who happened to get the room next door! The hotel is very near to the beach (we could see it from the window) near to the train station and a short walk from then nearest metro. The street it is on is well placed for places to eat (the vegan cafe Ingrediente Secreto is literally across the street and is the BEST) - plenty of cafes/ bakeries/ fruit shops. It’s a great location if you love to watch the sunrise from the beach or have an early swim. There are lots of opticians and shoe shops and a choice of clothes shops like H&M and useful home wares shop- they sell everything from cushions to insoles for shoes to umbrellas and face jewels; Great on a rainy day!

    A lovely apartment with a small rooftop terrace which still gets the sun even in early December. It’s quite small but quiet and private and it’s within easy reach of the centre of Barcelona by metro or train. The apartment is located in the historical centre of Badalona. It’s only ten minutes from the beach and close to supermarkets, bars and restaurants along the seaside promenade. Great communication with the host throughout who was very helpful. Highly recommended.

    The Hostel is a gem in a well-situated neighborhood between Barcelona and Badalona, in Artigues. Besides all the other advantages (good connection to both cities by public transport, close to the beach, the abundance of shops and restaurants), the most invaluable were the owners of the Hostal. I stayed for almost a week there, I traveled alone with work, and they took care that I felt at home by being kind and smiley. Their attentiveness is priceless. Thank you!
