The resort and the beaches are on the flat. Train and buses nearby are regular and cheap. Locals are friendly and helpful. Lunch at La Cepa near the marina was 6 euros for a plate of 8 sardines which were delicious, the menu is good and the staff helpful. Fuengirola mostly flat and very clean and easy to get around. Great train and bus service to and from airport which run frequently. Very quiet area to relax. Lovely shopping streets with plenty seats to relax. Go to Maramar Shopping Centre for €1.20 each way on bus runs every 20 minutes. Large market on Tuesday morning and car boot market Saturday in Fairgrounds. Little advertised street market Sunday morning near Maramar Shopping Centre behind mosque but mostly same stalls as Tuesday market Shop in larger super mercado as more reasonable than smaller local ones and larger selection especially for water etc. there is large selection restaurants of all cuisines I keep returning to this little haven and that says it allGuest review byMaryIreland

It was clean and both the superking bed and the safe were a bonus. We didn't eat at the hotel but I can vouch for the cocktails - they weren't the cheapest but they were well made and were served in glasses (not those ridiculous novelty numbers). The location was very convenient and we were just minutes away from the sea, shops and restaurants.
