El Castillo Hotel is 656 feet from Medina Castle, and overlooks Cádiz Bay and the area’s white mountain towns. This quiet hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with a private terrace and great views. The facilities were homey, the owner Manuela and her whole family treated us as if we were part of their family. The rooms were adequate, it is not a four star hotel, but they are comfortable. We had a terrace with spectacular views to the valley beneath. The restaurant was great and the service first class.

This typical 18th century manor house in the town of Medina Sidonia, built to be like a balcony overlooking the province of Cádiz from 330 yards above. This hotel, and the town itself, was a great find. The town is charming and the staff are exceptional. The rooms were spacious, as was the en suite bathroom. Loved this place!
