It was beautifully maintained and honored its 400 years of existence.

Very helpful staff. Good breakfast. Very clean and good quality linen. Very close to the Railway Station. Best location in Watford.

The location was convenient to the Watford Station and restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was also good.

The best space for solo traveler with the most comfortable bed, kitchen and bathroom with all the amenities one could need. I'm so pleased with this booking and would highly recommend anyone visiting Watford area. I was super comfortable and everything I needed whether its making tea or taking nice shower was available and fully stocked. Amazing value for the price.

It was a lovely historic manor with great AC, very nice staff, good restaurant, beautiful grounds & fairly modern facilities. Our room was a nice big size with a King bed in the modern wing. And a nice, varied food & drink buffet included!

Lovely clean hotel in a great location. Great value with a good selection at breakfast. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very good service, awesome SPA, perfect breakfast 👌

Newly refurbished to a very high standard. Very comfortable room and lovely bathroom. Plenty of towels and toiletries. Enjoyed an excellent dinner with a friend. The bar and Dining Rooms on different levels adding to the attraction of the Traditional Pub Decor and furniture.

Amenities and accommodation are excellent

Everything! Amazing staff and location! Facilities above and beyond expectation. Will visit again - SOON!

Charm, old world feeling, character of the hotel, and decor. Very clean and well maintained. Nice pub with good food. Friendly and accommodating staff.

The room was easily accessible, the area clean and tidy

The food was absolutely delicious! Oana was an excellent hostess in the restaurant and bar.

Our stay at the Grove truly exceeded expectations. The location is stunning, and the amenities and programming (especially for children) were wonderful. The staff was welcoming and kind, and I’d like to especially appreciate Soad, who went above and beyond to ensure my birthday was well celebrated. Our daughter (nearly 5) had so much fun for the amazing activities over Easter weekend, as well as playing in the kids pool and driving the mini Landies. She also loved her afternoon at Anushka’s, which was a real treat for my husband and I to have some kid-free time together, knowing our daughter was having fun in good hands. We were sad to leave and would love to come back again someday.

the staff are really friendly and helpful

The place was so beautiful. Its not modern but they have made sure all the facilities are there for a traveller to come and stay peacefully. It's a shame I did not get a chance to enjoy their breakfast. May be next time. I checked out very early morning and the person at the reception was extremely helpful. He voluntarily offered a cup of tea and some biscuits. Very kind of him. Would love to recommend to anyone. Just few minutes walk to Watford train station. So very convenient

Cleanliness of the kitchen area.

Hi . We thought the hotel was very smart and luxurious we would definitely stay again.x

The room was spacious and the surroundings very serene, giving us time to reflect on ourselves, talk and laugh..Had shops very close by and the Town Center and other amusement within easy reach.

Nice location, close to the train station and the bus stop. Very friendly staff, you feel truly welcome. Good breakfasts. The room had a bit retro vibe, and that was unusual and interesting, very comfortable though. Thin walls so sometimes you can hear your neighbors, but it's not something you can do about. The area is nice and green.
