If you require a beech holiday then it all depends upon the weather conditions like everywhere else however if there is a northly on shore wind it can feel very cold. Bacton is only a small village joined to neighbouring village Walcott with limited facilities but has the romance of small village life

Quiet beach , nice walks on beach - didn’t get chance to explore more than a little around property we stayed at however walked though village on a Saturday night unfortunately the local Chinese restaurant was closed to dine in and it was take away only, the Chinese seemed to be the only restaurant within walking distance and No pub within walking distance. The takeaway was very busy which must be a good sign. Bacton seemed a little run down, in need of some love and attention, maybe due to covid 🤷‍♀️ We ended walking back to eat at castaway s memorised only due to no fish and chips , over cooked scampi and garlic bread starter being served half way though the main meal. We stayed at the Clift top inn and would return there due to lovely staff and great views. Apart from that can’t say we liked the area very much.

I absolutely loved staying at Seals the rooms was awesome 2 single beds(1 slightly larger than the other) great bathroom and super hot and powerful shower Breakfast in the morning was outstanding and could have whatever you liked served by the owner with a smile on her face and simply red playing in the background lol My favourite part was it backed onto the beach soon the final morning I got up early and had a walk along the beach in my pjs and wellies and got a stunning picture of the sunrise Will definitely be going back if we can get booked in 5*

Bacton is a pretty sea side village. Perfect for a quiet beach holiday. The people are friendly. The beach is lovely and clean. Great for eveyone, even for dog walking in some areas. The Poacher's Pocket on the beach front is a great place to eat. Reasonable prices for tasty meals. There is a small shop, selling essentials. A hairdressers, a gift shop and a dog grooming parlour. Bacton has it's own fish and chip shop, Chinese takeaway and teashops. Great diversity.

Bacton has a lovely clean beach which we could access through a little gate on the caravan site. It has a small ice cream shop right on the beach and miles of non crowded golden sands. We had a meal at the Sea Marge hotel in Overstrand which was superb and also the White Horse in Overstrand which was very good.

A Beautiful sandy beach with safe water. Really nice friendly camp site. The gas works are a bit unsightly but once on site you don't notice it as the site is set right on the beach front and beautifully kept. A very peaceful and lovely place. Amazing Chinese restaurant just up the road too...
