Vetrelax Basildon Newly refurbished 3bed House has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Basildon, 10 miles from Upminster Tube Station. Dirty accommodation with no hot water. Raised issue with host but refused a refund despite conditions being at the point the property couldn't have been stayed in
Offering free WiFi and garden views, 4 Bed House next to Basildon Town Center is an accommodations located in Basildon. The Festival Leisure Park is within 0.8 mi of the holiday home. The host had set the table for dinner which was a nice touch. The bedrooms were nicely made up and neat.
Featuring a garden, Bostocke Everlight Lodge provides accommodations in Basildon with free WiFi and garden views. The property is 15 miles from Hylands Park and 17 miles from Adventure Island. Very large house, basic but great value for money & in a perfect location for myself. 4 bedrooms that could potentially totally sleep up to 11-13 people I would say great for contractors. Lovely residential area also has a garden. Also super easy check in
In need of some tender loving care, a bit tired, furniture a little chewed up, shower really good although water comes out of tap at the same time, so a bit wasteful. On the plus side the room was very clean, breakfast was OK, although they could do with a sign up to say how to order the cooked option, no fresh fruit, but plenty of choice on the pastries and cereal. Water not hot enough to brew tea so had to leave it and opt for coffee instead!!! Overall an ok place to stopover for 1 or 2 nights, we stayed for 1 night.
I was back in the area for a reason. I heard someone say he had come to Basildon for a holiday! Coming from Southend, I wouldn't choose the area for a holiday, but each to their own. A good location of you had an event to go to in the area.
I live in a little seaside town and the traffic there is not as frenetic as Basildon. and they seem to have an awful lot of roundabouts. and there is a steady stream of cars and trucks. but on the whole i did find other drivers to be patient when i did not know where i was going.
This hotel lets the brand Holiday Inn down badly very shabby, under staffed bar over priced car park , staff doing best they can but the company is not responding to there needs , this the worst standard I have ever seen as far as room standards
Really good shopping centre at Eastgate with lots of places to eating I am Coeliac and had excellent service in Debenhams with soup and gluten free bread..Friendly staff in all the shops.Entertainment in foyer.Good bus routes and excellent toilet facilities. Nice outside area.Bus was a bit expensive but worth it .
The temperature in my room was extremely hot, this was caused by the heater, which could not be turned off. The AC was also broken. Multiple staff were unable to help sort out the issue and a like for like room was not offered. The manager in the morning dealt with the situation accordingly. However, I had to find a way to sleep in the disgusting heat- making me unwell the following day.
The hotel is situated about 1 hour by train from central London. The ticket to get to the central London costed us around 12 pounds one way per one person. It's about 30 minutes walk from the hotel to the train station. There is a big shopping center nearby and quite a few options to eat. We didn't order the breakfast, because we had a big dinner the night before in a Turkish restaurant (it was good). There were a watter kettle with some instant coffee, milk and tea in the room. The room was newly renovated, stylish and comfortable.
Location was exceptional. Close to train station and town centre. The accommodation was clean and put together. The customer service was top notch. They were quick to respond to my messages and any issues I had.
Wonderful host. Lovely apartment. Very clean. Easy access to Town centre and transport facilities. Quiet neighborhood. People urbane etcA
