The Campanile Hotel Basildon features Wi-fi, a 24-hour front desk and a traditional restaurant. The hotel is just 1.5 miles from Basildon center, in the heart of Essex. I loved the breakfast it's more like an American type. We ate dinner there in the evenings. Good food and a good selections of beers. Served nice and cold. We liked and enjoyed the workers. The loved talking to us Americans and wanted to know about our country and customs. Just a nice group of people.
Set in Basildon, just 1.9 mi from Festival Leisure Park, Modern Luxury 2 Bed Apartment 6 Guests En-Suite Netflix Wi-Fi offers accommodations with free WiFi. Was a Beautiful, very clean and very quiet spacious apartment, comfortable beds, excellent facilities with easy check in access, plenty of parking spaces and great communication with the hosts who were very helpful and welcoming, thank you very much for a very enjoyable stay :-)
This hotel lets the brand Holiday Inn down badly very shabby, under staffed bar over priced car park , staff doing best they can but the company is not responding to there needs , this the worst standard I have ever seen as far as room standards
Really good shopping centre at Eastgate with lots of places to eating I am Coeliac and had excellent service in Debenhams with soup and gluten free bread..Friendly staff in all the shops.Entertainment in foyer.Good bus routes and excellent toilet facilities. Nice outside area.Bus was a bit expensive but worth it .
The temperature in my room was extremely hot, this was caused by the heater, which could not be turned off. The AC was also broken. Multiple staff were unable to help sort out the issue and a like for like room was not offered. The manager in the morning dealt with the situation accordingly. However, I had to find a way to sleep in the disgusting heat- making me unwell the following day.
From the Hotel to Basildon was a good little walk. The train station is located there also. We walked it often and even in the rain. Basildon is out in the country which I enjoyed . We rode the C2C train to london and then switched to the Tube from there. The tube is what we call the subway. Very easy to understand and if you can read a map, you can travel like a pro.
Stayed with family - so cannot comment fully. Basildon town centre nice. Good selection of shops. Plenty of eating places. Not far from Lakeside & Bluewater shopping Centres. Not far from Central London. Not far from Southend.
The property is okay. Beds are not good. Location is great 👍. Customer service is disappointing. They just debit your card without your consent. Which could be rated as fraud. Some of us value money more than the reputation in business. That’s my experience with Jo Cherrydown. I’m still here to spread the news.
