Located in Brora, within 11 miles of Dunrobin Castle, No. 2 The Links offers garden views. This beachfront property has a patio. Spent three nights at no2 the links and wished I could have stayed longer. Clean , well furnished, garden view and beach view. Though in November weather not the best will def go back in the summer months. Waking up to the sound of the ocean watching the dolphins and seals dancing in the sea was the best.

The town itself is very small but if you like golf, Brora Golf Course is a must to golf at! The Dunrobin Castle is nearby and is also worth visiting. Brora was our base town for exploring the highlands and our Scottish roots. We were very happy with our choice and our stay at the Royal Marine Hotel! One night we ate dinner at The Sutherland Inn. The food was delicious and we could walk to it from our hotel.
I enjoyed shopping at the Coop and the bakery, with delicious pies and cakes. There are a few places where you can eat, but I preferred to cook and relax in the house. It‘s very easy to get around Brora, because it is a very nice and small village. You can visit Dunrobin Castle which looks very impressive when you go by car from Brora towards it, this sight is a must.
Lovely little harbour, beautiful long sandy beach. Wonderful scenery with fishing available on Loch Brora. Also good for kayaking on the Loch and/or the sea. Not many shops, but can get most things locally. Great quirky retro stuff at Pandora's Emporium.
Fantastic spot for touring from . Shop for food supplies five mins away and good restaurants local . Seal colony here which is fun to watch . Loch is beautiful and pebbles on beach great variety as is the bird life . Exhilarating walking drawing and photography base with such warm friendly locals . Tranquil.
Brora is a stunning destination. Fantastic beach, wonderful golf course, friendly people and nature all around. Fabulous walks all around, including Loch Brora, an utter gem which too many people miss out on.
Excellent golf- fine links course to challenge the wary and the unwary. Fishing facilities excellent, as are the opportunities to cycle and walk in the countryside,. The area is steeped in history, but it needs investigation and cherishing. There is a rather lovely Catholic Church (Christ the King) which is attractively situated on an elevated cliff-top above the harbour. The old fishing cottages are below, by the harbour. An ideal place for young families, with dogs that need exercising, and for folk that enjoy bracing holidays.
