The owner of the property is the best host anybody would wish for, he's very nice and understanding guy , always call to check and see if we are okay and see if we need anything. The apartment is of 5*star standard and he didn't charge us for anything extra. I will highly recommend this property to anyone cause you won't regret it.

We stayed here as it's location was perfect for an early morning hospital appointment . There are several interesting places to visit near by .Historic Dockyard, Sports centre ,Dockside Shopping outlet ,the river, a cinema, country parks and Brompton Army Museum. There is a choice of places to eat .Mostly a short drive away .Rochester has a wider selection and to suit both taste and cost. it also has a Castle and a Cathedral.

Gillingham is pretty unattractive but this hotel is really convenient for The Royal Engineers museum and Chatham historic dockyard area. Also with a car Rochester is only 10 minutes away - great restaurants, Cathedral and Castle and lots of history related to Charles Dickens. Photos are ofRochester NOT Gillingham

Not the prettiest place but depends what you want. Facilities are very good and lots of good restaurants, Popadom, Vilagio, Ship and Trades, Hollywood Bowl and for take away, the award winning kebab shop in Upper Gillingham. Plus there is an ice rink.

Gillingham is our home town and we have lived elsewhere for years now but still like to go 'home' to visit friends and family. The Medway towns and Gillingham are steeped in history, good too for shopping and the Gills. Sorry, know nothing about the night life.

I was here for work so had very little time to explore! I would rate Gillingham as a 'marmite ' town from what I have seen. I really liked it but am sure many others would not. It is however very close to historic Chatham and Rochester

As always staff in all areas of the hotel were extremely helpful. Courteous. And ready to see to Ur every need. Sure there is room for improvement in any hotel.. But prices are good and we love it there. Close to Chatham dockyard ..Gillingham high street which is fabulous if u like thrift shops. And the royale engineers tank museum is right opp hotel.
