Featuring a bar, a casino, and a tennis court, Haven Mills provides accommodations in Gillingham with free WiFi and city views. The apartment is 1.3 miles from Priestfield Stadium. I liked the fact that is close to the universities and the property is Opposite the leisure centre with several sporting activities to see and participate. There are easy access to many shopping centres and supermarkets and restaurant. I loved it.
Gardiner Street is a property set in Gillingham near Priestfield Stadium. Koran was absolutely wonderful! He made sure to email me suggestions of places to visit based on what we wanted to do. He was very flexible with checking in and out. The property was extremely clean. There were no noisy neighbors and the location was great.
Located 1.3 miles from Priestfield Stadium, MiruANA House B&B provides accommodations with a garden, a shared lounge and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Complimentary WiFi is provided. The hosts were very hospitable and the room was cozy. Breakfast was also very delicious with lots of options (I asked for vegetarian). Very close to Medway Hospital and walking distance to the train station.
Located in rural Kent, the YHA Medway is opposite Capstone Country Park. With a restaurant, this traditional oast house is also just 10 minutes’ drive from the Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust Museum. I was very impressed by how clean and well run the place was. Excellent value for money, friendly staff, it was perfect for our family stay. Highly recommend it!
Featuring a garden, QUEEN GUEST HOUSE is located in Gillingham in the Kent region, 1.3 miles from Priestfield Stadium. Every think was excellent I was very happy special the girl work on reception sh was polite helpful and excellent customer service Many many thanks to her
Gillingham is not particularly a 'holiday' destination and doesn't pretend to be so.The traveller may need to have a bone fide reason for going there such as the Chatham Dockyard, Fort Amherst or other such places of historic worth. It is sad to see though that several places of interest are being developed into new housing. For example hundreds of new houses are being built on the site of the once famous Kitchener Barracks. The naval base is now a marina and shopping centre but this is progress as they say.
Lovely place in Kent the park on Marlborough road is stunning good pleasant walk took me to the most amazing view over the local area where i sat and ate some lunch watching it all go by, good running spot it looked safe for women to walk/run lots of people about walking dogs or walking through to other locations. I walked through alone found it a good place for lone walkers, couples, families and dogs. Lovely place hope to move there soon hopefully nice place to spend the weekend nice leisure center close by with Gillingham town centre not too far off for a spot of lunch and shopping therapy. Parking is possible no return within 3 hours which is awesome.
Main attractions for us were the Royal Engineers Museum (currently undergoing massive renovations so mostly closed for 2016, but I was there to use the library) and Chatham Historical Dockyards. Not much about Gillingham itself was particularly attractive.
I stayed at the hotel King Charles with a Gillingham address, but I was really sightseeing the Chatham dockyards that were a convenient short taxi ride away. Therefore, I really was not doing any sightseeing in Gillingham. Train station was also a short taxi ride to the hotel and was walkable.
Lots to see around the the local area. Ideal for young and older people interested in culture and history .. The docks at Chatham are well worth a visit so too are the surrounding areas. Kent is very beautiful. Go in the summer but bring your pack a mac just in case!
The country park was excellent. We ate at the wagon hale they were very obliging. We did drive into Rochester and Chatham looking for somewhere to eat with car park for car with bikes but couldn't find so chose to eat local to The hostel.

Good price, especially with a warm breakfast. You could tell they are trying to make improvements on an older building to give it personality. My kids liked the fish aquariums and the bunk beds. It had good options for cheap price.
