Colin was a great host. Very friendly and helpful. The room recently refurbished/decorated and was absolutely spotless. Everything brand new. Bed was so comfy. Smart TV and sofa. Huge shower. Breakfast delicious. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The friendly hosts went above and beyond to welcome us, make a big fuss about this being the last stop on our honeymoon, and help organise a taxi and our evening meal. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable, in a good location, and we enjoyed sitting in the private garden in the evening. Bikes were kept secure while we explored Hornsea and overnight. Good continental breakfast with fresh coffee served in the room.

Great place to stay. Very helpful host. gave us good directions for walking into Hornsea. The room was lovely and clean and well equipped. Biscuits tea and coffee much appreciated and we enjoyed the breakfast too.

Me, my husband and our 3 year old son had a wonderful time, The staff catered for our every need and made us feel so welcomed. My son took a shine to Hazel 😊 cannot recommend the place enough. Everything you need for a perfect break away and very dog and kid friendly.

    A welcoming town with all amenities within easy walking distance. There are many weekly local activities and a calm leisure centre. Honeysuckle farm is fantastic for old and young. Do go to the pantomime in the summer months; professional and hilarious!

    A lovely town with be lots of unique shops and good restaurant facilities. The local people are very welcoming and friendly and the town s not commercialised - unlike a number of UK seaside places: a really nice feel to the place.

    Hornsea has lots of good pubs and bars.

    Hornsea has lots of good pubs and bars. It has a row of nice cafe bars! It has a lovely beach and traditional bucket and spade shops. The Mere is also a very nice place to visit and about 10 minutes walk from the town. The museum is great and well worth the 6 pound entrance fee and sells Hornsea Pottery items. We had tea at Maas Indian restaurant which was delicious.

    Lovely town street with a variety of shops, bars, restaurants and takeaway aways. Easy access to the beach and promenade. Clean place with friendly people. Facilities on the sea front. Small, long sandy beach. Watch out for little fish that can sting you though.

    Very friendly community, few shops which is nice.

    Very friendly community, few shops which is nice. The best cafe is called The Green Owl and it open from 8.30 in the morning. Maa is Indian restaurant and it was lovely food and the price is reasonable. There have Tesco, Morrison, Boyes, Co-op, Robinson of Hornsea, few pubs. Very nice.

    I love Hornsea, I had a static caravan there for 5 years and...

    I love Hornsea, I had a static caravan there for 5 years and liked it that much we’ve decided to move there. Lots of nice cafes and bars. The Green Owl and Lucians both have music on at the weekend. I have joined the Ex servicemen’s club and we’ve had a few bingo wins and they too have music on at the weekend. People are very friendly and it’s right next to the beach. Also within easy reach of Beverley, Filey, Scarborough, Whitby and York. Lily’s fish and chip shop is lovely and the Green Owl and the Victoria pub both do nice food. There’s a bus to Beverley and Freeport.
