This was a perfect find, tucked away in a quiet location but within short driving distance of local amenities. The hosts were brilliant - really friendly and approachable and even helped to dry our waterproofs for the following day!! Our twin bedroom had a small double bed & single bed with an en-suite. It was spotless, with kettle and tv and plenty of handsanitiser and wipes if needed. Breakfast was fab. Will definitely be returning again!

On the banks of the River Greta, Inglenook Guest House offers free Wi-Fi throughout and rooms with views over the Yorkshire Dales countryside. Where to start...Zeena and Tim were super friendly, attentive hosts, so much so, it was quite hard to say goodbye! If you are looking for an eco friendly place to stay, these hosts have given a lot of thought to how to do this without compromising on the quality of service they provide. Breakfasts using local produce (where possible) and home made bickies on the welcome tray were also highlights. We were allowed to use the fridge in the dining room to store yummy cheeses that we had bought locally, which was an unexpected bonus. The all important bed was the most comfortable one we had come across in the 4 weeks we have been travelling so far....Thank you Tim and Zeena for running such a welcoming B&B!

Ingleton is a great Centre for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, and in particular walking and eating. There is a good selection of eateries including cosy cafes, excellent restaurants and value-for-money takeaways, and there is accommodation for all budgets.
lovely scenery the white scar caves I would highly recommend & the ingleton falls was beautiful (you have to be a good walker though because your up & down many many step) Beautiful place. The local chip shop that was voted 3rd best in England we were very disappointed. Service was very slow, chips were small bits of potatoe & the fish was more batter than fish. I would give it a miss & go & find somewhere else that has better quality food.
good information centre and central location. Waterfall trail is a must if weather dry but you need about 3 -4 hours to complete Great old-fashioned sweet shop Climb to the top of Ingleborough and see Morecombe bay and the Lake District A nice walk can be centred on the Ribblehead viaduct and Station using the adjacent road carpark
The town was quaint. Needs a food coop store. Plenty of small convenient stores. Eateries were great. Especially the little caving-eatery. The outdoor-store or caving-store was amazing for the size of the town.
Ingleton itself seems to close in the afternoon around 4pm! I have found this two years running and was there in half term this time. It's an attractive place with an open air swimming pool if the weather is warm - it was made by local people in the 30s - check the website for times. Good walker's cafe at Inglesport. The local area is wonderful for walking with the Three Peaks and rare limestone pavements and wild flowers. There are also visitor attractions like White Scar Caves, The Settle to Carlisle railway with Ribblehead viaduct and the waterfalls walk. Lots of stone villages with rivers running through, like Clapham, and near to Settle where there is good quality pub food. Being an older woman on my own wasn't a problem, people were friendly and I felt safe in the hills.
We went to do the waterfall walk as a trip down memory lane, as we did it over 40 years ago when our children were small. The walk has probably been improved in regards to ease and safety, although more commercial now. We didn't see Ingleton at its best though as the weather was cold and damp, with some snow at the end of April!
Perfectly located for the village of Ingleton and the beautiful waterfall trail. The pub and rooms are spotlessly clean - the bedroom wasn’t huge but it had everything you need including a fabulous shower, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. We will definitely be coming back.
The whole farm experience, beautiful setting surrounded by animals and rolling countryside, very close to Ingleton and gateway to the Dales. Very comfortable room & excellent breakfast! If you like to be off the beaten track then this is the perfect place to stay.
Location, the room, our host's were friendly and did what was required to make our stay enjoyable. The location is a short distance from Ingleton centre and the best restaurant (The Mason) which is closer on the main road.
Ideally located As we were visiting family who live in ingleton Shops and local amenities on the door step. Well stocked Warm and welcoming Beautiful place
The ingleton waterfall trail was fantastic and the scenery was superb.
