Seed Hill Guest House is a 17th century grade II-listed property set in Ingleton, a village located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The property offers free on-site parking. What a lovely place to stay. Breakfast wss amazing. Adrian so welcoming. Room was very comfortable and a little quirky. Loved looking out onto the garden centre at the front. Would highly recommend staying here. Clise to all amenties as well within easy walking distance of Ingleton waterfalls.
On the banks of the River Greta, Inglenook Guest House offers free Wi-Fi throughout and rooms with views over the Yorkshire Dales countryside. Fabulous home from home with Tim and Zena making me feel very welcome. As a lone women, I felt a bit anxious about my stay, but it was perfect. Crisp, white cotton sheets and lovely hot shower were unexpected treats after treking the Three Peaks (lovely view of Ingleborough from my window too) and even my dog, Stan, was made to feel at home. (He particularly liked his hot sausage breakfast - a rare treat as I'm vegetarian!) We can't wait to come back, and I'll be bringing my husband next time. Oh, and free parking right outside.
Located in Ingleton, Rivers Edge provides accommodations with a TV. There's also a kitchen in some of the units equipped with a microwave, a fridge, and an oven. The vacation home offers a hot tub. Clean modern lodge, pet treats and bed were in the lodge on arrival (nice little touch) great location, friendly staff
Our Holiday House Yorkshire - children and doggy friendly is located in Ingleton. The property is 20 miles from Kendal, and guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking available on... The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed and more. The kids loved the Hobbit hole play room. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.
Ingleton is a great Centre for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, and in particular walking and eating. There is a good selection of eateries including cosy cafes, excellent restaurants and value-for-money takeaways, and there is accommodation for all budgets.
lovely scenery the white scar caves I would highly recommend & the ingleton falls was beautiful (you have to be a good walker though because your up & down many many step) Beautiful place. The local chip shop that was voted 3rd best in England we were very disappointed. Service was very slow, chips were small bits of potatoe & the fish was more batter than fish. I would give it a miss & go & find somewhere else that has better quality food.
good information centre and central location. Waterfall trail is a must if weather dry but you need about 3 -4 hours to complete Great old-fashioned sweet shop Climb to the top of Ingleborough and see Morecombe bay and the Lake District A nice walk can be centred on the Ribblehead viaduct and Station using the adjacent road carpark
The town was quaint. Needs a food coop store. Plenty of small convenient stores. Eateries were great. Especially the little caving-eatery. The outdoor-store or caving-store was amazing for the size of the town.
Ingleton itself seems to close in the afternoon around 4pm! I have found this two years running and was there in half term this time. It's an attractive place with an open air swimming pool if the weather is warm - it was made by local people in the 30s - check the website for times. Good walker's cafe at Inglesport. The local area is wonderful for walking with the Three Peaks and rare limestone pavements and wild flowers. There are also visitor attractions like White Scar Caves, The Settle to Carlisle railway with Ribblehead viaduct and the waterfalls walk. Lots of stone villages with rivers running through, like Clapham, and near to Settle where there is good quality pub food. Being an older woman on my own wasn't a problem, people were friendly and I felt safe in the hills.
We went to do the waterfall walk as a trip down memory lane, as we did it over 40 years ago when our children were small. The walk has probably been improved in regards to ease and safety, although more commercial now. We didn't see Ingleton at its best though as the weather was cold and damp, with some snow at the end of April!

I liked that the hotel was separated from the pub / restaurant. Staff welcomed myself and my girlfriend and the young lady who showed us to our room was very professional and even told us where to be in case of a fire! ( which is good to know ) The food was cooked fresh and to high standards, although a little more on the plate would have been good.. but really nice. Huge selection of beers / spirits which we took advantage off. We will definitely be back again

Caroline, thank you for welcoming us in your cozy house. The lemon cake was delicious and the fresh eggs were just in time! Thanks for resolving and being ready to fix any problem. Very clean shower, comfy beds. We enjoyed every moment. The place is quiet and friendly, the neighbours are nice. The grocery store is just 200 meters away. Plenty of walking paths around.
