I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about Hayley and the lovely Hotel No. 5 - I had such a wonderful time in Llandudno because of my stay here. To start, it's spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and I loved that it's a little bit removed from the hustle and bustle of everything (yet still very close, walkable, and steps from the bus stop!) The breakfast was absolutely delicious and included everything you could need to start your day. But the greatest part of the experience is Hayley, who goes above and beyond for her guests! She is so knowledgeable about the area, always checks in to make sure that you're enjoying your stay, and just pours her heart and soul into Hotel No.5 - and it shows! Really recommend staying here if you're traveling to Llandudno. I will absolutely stay again next time I'm in town!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Cae Mor Hotel in Llandudno on August 1st. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and offered a breathtaking view of the beach - waking up to that each morning was such a treat. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the staff. Every single person we encountered took such clear pride in what they do, and it showed in the warm, attentive, and genuinely caring service we received from start to finish. They really MADE our trip. The on-site restaurant was equally impressive, serving stunning food that was both beautifully presented and full of flavour — easily among the best meals we’ve had while travelling. If you’re visiting Llandudno, I can’t recommend the Cae Mor Hotel enough. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, location, and exceptional hospitality.

FAQs about hotels in Llandudno

Victorian Resort with a Welsh Twist

The most popular Wales seaside resort, Llandudno covers a peninsula with 2 sandy coastlines. The North Shore’s wide Victorian promenade is lined with period buildings which now house seafront hotels and guest houses. The beach itself stretches all the way between the Little Orme and Great Orme headlands, passing an outdoor swimming pool.

A historic tram climbs to the peak of Great Orme, where Bronze Age copper mines can be visited. The top is also reachable by cable car from Happy Valley, a recreation area with gardens and an artificial ski slope.

A road runs around the base of the headland passing the historic Grand Hotel, a property available on Booking.com and overlooking the Grade II-listed pier – the longest in Wales. The West Shore is much less developed and the Maesdu Golf Course forms most of its shoreline.

Of course, Llandudno has its fair share of traditional seaside pursuits such as donkey rides and fish and chip shops.

The town also has a modern retail park near the train station and Venue Cymru event centre, and wrought-iron canopies shade smaller shops along Mostyn Avenue, Broadway and Street. The latter - Mostyn Street - is effectively the high street and becomes brightly decorated during the Victorian carnival in May.

Llandudno is a lovely place to stay, especially if you're not so mobile as there is a wide promenade, the town itself is flat, and it's compact too. A wide range of places to eat and shops. Beautiful scenery with the sea and the mountains behind.

My family and i love Llandudno. We come every year. Very friendly clean place. You have everything here. The mountains, Goats which we always walk of drive round to find some, we are never disappointed. You have a lovely looking see front with lovely looking hotels, all standing proud and clean and well kept. The lovely beach. Then great shopping experience with lovely shops.also all the big shops together in a area. There are lots of cafes to choose from, selling gluten free foods too for those of us with Coeliac disease. Especially one called Indulgence, with home made food, including cakes and puddings. I love Llandudno.

I would recommend a trip to the Great Orme, complimented by a pastie and cream scone at the top. A walk along the pier which encompasses rides, arcades and places to sit down for refreshments and is dog friendly.A ride on the hop on hop off bus which stops at Conway Castle. Make sure you get on one of the newer buses which has better seats and a better P.A system so you can here the comentry clearly. The Cross Keys pub is great for watching sports and has a good variety of drinks.

Good flat clean promenade, easy for walking. Plenty of nearby places to go, e.g. Rhos-on-Sea Conwy. The town is within easy reach and the small museum very interesting. The tram to the top of the Gt. Orme an attraction not to be missed. Always a pleasure visiting Llandudno, but found it difficult finding a suitable restaurant to have an evening meal. We did eat out at Conwy and Deganwy. Easier to find suitable eating places here to suit our tastes.

We booked the Pebble House as a last minute trip to Llandudno. It was a lovely hotel situated right on the seafront and a short walk from the pier. The property was really well looked after and was extremely clean, we would 100% recommend the Pebble House to friends and family and would love to return. Simon was a great host and was extremely helpful. Breakfast was absolutely lovely, we both had a full English and it was exceptional! Overall, a brilliant stay.
