An amazing place! The bed was a bit firm, but that's my own personal preference and don't let that take away from the amazing ambiance and charm of this place. The food was also awesome and every staff member was super nice and helpful. They really made you feel at home without even having to try. If you are looking for a place off the beaten path this is absolutely going to be it!

We have stayed at Hunters Lodge twice before as it was convenient for the light show at Longleat. On this occassion it was a hand stop off on our way home from Cornwall. The room was very comfortable and breakfasts were great. Evening meals are excellent but be sure you book a table as they do get busy.

We were 3 friends looking for a traditional English pub in a small village to stay at near to a few local golf courses to try. The Benett Arms in Semley did not disappoint. Great staff, location and a lovey pub with very comfortable rooms/ The food and drink was excellent with a lovely outdoor space to watch the locals (including a donkey) go by. Recommend the local fresh milkshake dispenser and farm shop. We will be back.
